Glitterwolf
@Talae Awesome acquisition! Welcome to WOOF!
Rob Dean
I did yesterday’s acquisitioning the hard way. I’ve been going through my Prince August mold collection to see if I can get them all to the point where they will cast cleanly, so I had an hour and a half of good weather after work to take my melting post outside and try the next three fantasy molds. It looks like the orcs and undead will be easy enough to produce to whatever level I turn out to need. Now to vent the next three untested molds before my day off on Friday...

I grew up with dogs, but this rescue is our first and we are excited to have him. It has been a week and a half or so, but this guy has been great to have around. My 9 y.o. daughter might be the most excited out of all of us. Aw, he's lovely Congratulations to Artemis for finding such a great forever home!

Do they look too cheap? I wasn't going for expensive dice, these are a lesser part of the gift, but I'm not particularly drawn to that style personally, usually, so I'm worried they're too simple-looking. Please advise, dice aficionados. If you prefer 25mm bases to the 30mm bases, then those base inserts fit very nicely in the Reaper round bases (if you put them upside down) I think I posted a photo many moons ago showing this, probably sometime in 2015... Those dice are acceptable as a gift - easy to read and the colours aren't overwhelming 8

I remember when they launched those but never had any, and I thought they were going to be the regular old bases (of which I've used several, love that Micro Arts stuff). I'm interested to see how these work out.

WhiteWulfe
Sweet, they're in... And my own notes had the wrong info on the packages, so the 500 count came in first, whoooo! 500 3x3mm magnets feel tiny, but today will be a day full of magnetising terrain, Whooooo! Superglue for scale.

I made a small order from Green Stuff World. Some snow flock New base rollers New filling putty Scratch brushes for weathering and cleaning the rollers New hobby knife and spare blades Leaf punch and foil to make foliage Tufty stuff Cork to stick WIP minis onto and 2 cheap airbrushes because my Iwatas are still hiding on me I tried out the 0.5 airbrush today and it's a lot better than I expected it to be for only £23. Hopefully my Iwatas will reappear and I can use the new ones solely for metallics. I've got a lot of Infinity Panoceana minis that need some attention after all Edited June 23, 2020 by Kuroneko

The tees came from a store named after the top row of characters on your keyboard. (Unless you have an Azerty, Dvorak or other weird keyboard) I have those scratch brushes somewhere, too.... How is the green putty? Similar to the Plastic putty from Vallejo, or? Never hurts to have a spare airbrush or two.

I actually find these ones easier to work with than the regular Micro Arts Studio resin bases - being a plastic similar to bones in consistency it's much easier to get the model to fit (normally I find the Micro Arts bases too busy, so being able to carve a space out with a hobby knife is great), they seem to paint up ok as well.

At least the previous two you mentioned are natively supported in most version of Windows!

At least the previous two you mentioned are natively supported in most version of Windows! The only good thing about COLEMAK is that it doesn't have a Caps Lock... To use three common vocals I'd have to use AltGr combinations... And they're not even sensible versions. They don't even have OS/2 support! It's on the list of things I've decided never to own. And I own quite a few weird things...

I've never tried the Vallejo putty, but it's a finer texture than the Tamiya putty, dries within 15 minutes, doesn't smell nasty and (most importantly) doesn't give me a bad skin reaction when I accidentally get it on my fingers. All in all, I'm extremely happy with it
