strawhat
I had a moment of weakness the other day and ordered a new tablet: a 10" Samsung Galaxy A. I've got to admit that it's leaps and bounds ahead if my Google Nexus 7 that is fast approaching its 8th birthday.
Zink
I tend to post things when I order them and not when I actually receive them but in this case it is both. 50 #1 brushes from My Happy Choice through Amazon. Heard they were decent quality and with my 3 year old also painting (and even worse at brush care than me) I thought they were worth a try at $0.50 a brush. A new fill station for paintball CO2 tanks. I knew that the large tank adapter was the wrong style so I ordered the proper one separately. But the adapter for the small CO2 tanks has the wrong threads so I need to get one of them as well. My old one was getting leaky and after I ordered this I found out I could buy the parts locally to fix the old one. Decided that having 2 might not be a bad idea in case one breaks when I need it. 11 paintball guns. Ordered a cheap mid quality gun for my oldest boy and 3 cheap field guns that I like for renting. Then just after that I was discussing getting another old gun that I have several of on Kijjiji. The guy said he had a bunch of spyders that he would sell me for $10 a piece. So I got 5 working markers and 2 that need small repairs. Wanted a few reliable guns and instead practically doubled the number of semi autos to rent out Lots of cases of paintballs and a couple hundred dollars of parts and odds and ends necessary to run my little rental operation. I made about $600 renting things this month and spent about twice that to upgrade and maintain my equipment. Ah well, the next shipment of paint should get me in to profit ut it means I totally have no more money for other hobbies right now.
Kangaroorex
Oh man, how I would love to play paintball again! Best of luck to you with your endeavour. My gun shows my age... it's a tippman 98 with a 28" barrel and some light rifling. Even with the new paint sprayers I used to do pretty well for myself by staying out of range or protecting the flag!

I may decide I need some 3.0 at some future time. I have both the 2.0 and the 3.0 Blacks. I'd almost say that the difference is like night and day, but... Yeah, 3.0 is significantly darker. The only issue with it is that most varnishes will spoil the effect. (The same with the Mirror paint. Don't think about adding a varnish on top of it) Also, strong light really kills the effect. 6 hours ago, Kangaroorex said: Oh man, how I would love to play paintball again! He might be able to tune it up a bit so that you can stay compeetitive... 6
Zink
I've really missed playing over the last 10 years. Tried starting up a couple years ago but only got a few games in. This year I seem to have caught the attention of a lot of the late teens and early 20s so far so hoping it continues. I bought a few new guns and masks but most of my equipment is 20+ years old. Luckily it's in decent shape so just o-rings to change but it's getting tricky to find parts. I have a handful of Tippmann prolites which are a bit older than your 98! I only have 1 autococker that can almost keep up to modern machine gun style markers. If the thing works. Finicky cockers. The good part is all of these people are new players so they are happy with pump guns and old, cheap semi autos. Not expecting 10 bps and trouble free operation (if there is such a thing with paintball). The kids worry about me when I play because I'm in full camo but I use a phantom pump gun and generally give it to the first person on my team who's gun goes down and then wander off to start fixing. Think it's mostly bad paint that has given me tons of headaches this month. Hopefully the new paint helps there.

About the only thing I'm up to chasing with a paintball gun is greedy squirrels who take too much from the feeders and drive away birds.
ratsmitglied
I may be busy for a little bit... LEGO 1989 Batmobile, only 3300 or so pieces (and still not the biggest set I have in terms of piece count, that honour goes to the Tower Bridge...which I probably need to fix, it's still boxed up after moving house 5 years ago!)

I really want to use it on dragon eyes, but do not have a painted dragon to test on, yet. I should add that mirror is solvent based and I was no longer satisfied with throwing out the brushes I used for solvent paints. A small amount of turpentine has been obtained.
