haldir
Hobby Lobby order I placed about a week & half ago showed up today! (Was scheduled for Sat via FedEx....uhhhhh ok). Also went to town/lunch with my mom today, items acquired. (really only needed the decals & instructions out of the '77 Pontiac, but hey 40% & free shipping, I'll take a full kit!! Molotow is the 2mm tip. Pads are a polishing kit for models) X-acto gold #11 blades, double sided mounting foam tape for mini & model part holding, Nolzur's Sahaugin minis & Carl Spackler!!! He is holding the clay animals he used to blow up the golf course. It was this one or Bill as Bill Murray the Zombie in Zombieland. Walmart had a whole shelf of Pop! Heroes devoted to Bill Murray roles.
haldir
& the goodies keeping coming in!!! Fast & Furious '70 Charger (Dominic's) decal sheet & instructions came in the mail (again a day later then ebay message saying I have a package.....). I bet if I find the instructions that I lost here in the house somewhere I'll find that decal sheet. Oh well, I have both now! Items from 1 of 2 Staples orders came as I getting the mail! This order is a 4 pk of metal folding chairs, Chisel tip Expo dry erase markers, trash bags & a 10 gl trash can. The last 3 items were to fulfill the coupon code I had + hey why go get em at the local Staples when I can have them delivered to me!!! These will be used for the Saturday games. I'm waiting on the 8 ft folding table which will be delivered on Friday.
NebulousMissy
I now own my very own labcoat! Do you have any idea how hard it was to find a good quality cotton labcoat without the fire retardant coating?! It needs to shrink in the wash. Good lab coats only seem to come in "mens" so the sleeves are long. I'll probably need to tack them later, too...

Would a fire retardant coating prevent the desired shrinkage? 1 hour ago, NebulousMissy said: It needs to shrink in the wash. Good lab coats only seem to come in "mens" so the sleeves are long. Would a fire retardant coating prevent the desired shrinkage? Organohalogens and I tend to disagree about things. I want my lab coat to be non-itchy. I also trust how cotton burns, corrodes, etc. I have experienced all of those and am forever grateful to the t-shirts who sacrificed themselves during my college career so my skin could remain undamaged. I know if I get drops of badness on a cotton labcoat it will react in a specific way, therefore I can react in a specific way, thus reducing the inherent hazard in any situation. Update: The shrinking worked! I don't even have to hem it anymore. It's a little roomy but that just means I can wear warm clothes under it (and maybe I need to work out more). Rahz
Finally found a store with some Jumpstart MTG packs left so ordered some along with more sleeves for my X-Wing cards along with a ARC-170 Starfighter to add to my son's force. Was hoping to have them for the weekend but it's not likely to show up until early next week.

Gadgetman!
I just realised that as an enabler, I'm a bit of an amateur yet... The latest newsletter from Signum The Game had the news that they now sell EMPTY Starter boxes! Well, not completely empty. There's still the building cards, dice and all th fluff. Just no minis. They'll probably manage to sell them, too... Me? I'm going to order their new Battle Nun... 3
Gadgetman!
Ordered a Teensy 4.1 with some accessories. It's an Arduino clone, but with a 600MHz 32bit cpu instead of the wimpy 8bit usually used. It's not as powerful as a Raspberry Pi, but it's a lot more compact.
Jasper_the_2nd
Got my 4 spools of filament today (and the kid's new webcam). And this afternoon I bought a new motorcycle helmet. No bike to go with it, of course. Found out at lunch the local car club was having an autoslalom tomorrow. My old helmet was WAY past being valid (I haven't done a slalom in......a while) so got chucked when we moved. With a few more days notice I might have had my good car ready (it needs some brake work done and I'm lazy) but oh well, I'll take the eco-box.
haldir
Received my other replacement LCD screen for my resin 3d printer yesterday. It was the same seller as before (can't beat 12 bucks cheaper). So after I replace my LCD, I'll have a backup still. Just in case.
