Ooh...shiny. How tall is that one?

Well since its a stl it can be any height you want, but looking at the files in Chitubox, the base itself is large base diameter (40mm or so) & this is a pic posted on the file itself on MMF:

720X720-120e0611-664a-4bed-9063-11a573dc

I'm not sure if the person printed it as is or what. Hopefully it is, as I like that size.

Nice. I'll have to keep an eye out for somebody licensed to sell that one.

(Not that I don't already have two dozen other huge projects to paint, lol.)

Had to replace the Green Grey ( almost finished the tube) and ordered a Wood Brown as well.

I love these paints.

Would you say they're worth it?  I've looked at them and contemplated getting my hands on some...

I have several sets now.

I do need to mention that I already have a lot of Scale 75 paints in bottles so I'm used to their Matt Finish.

These are awesome in my opinion but the Matt Finish might not appeal to everybody.

How do they compare to Reaper MSP?  Have you used other brands of artist's acrylic colors?  I'm curious about the differences between ScaleColor Artist and other brands.  Most artist's paints indicate things like translucent/opaque and how lightfast they are.  Do these?  How much thinning is necessary, and do you use water or something else?

Acquired the touch screen (its an option you can swap over to) and some tungsten nozzles for my SV03.  The printer shipped from BC and has been up and running for a while, but these extras had to ship from China.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to seeing what the VC Dome 3's look like in the housings...  And if I can cram any of them into the Zaku 1 Sniper! o_O

Edit: I'll playfully say I'm partially the reason they're out of stock of a few - three things on my order were shorted, but oh well.

Well,  Reaper paints taste better...

Seriously, Scale75 Metallics can go a really long way to curing a brush licking habit...

I like scale75 Metallics for coverage and color, although the new reaper metallics are much better than their original.  The colors, in their standard line tend to be more glossy but less transparent than reaper (I haven't played with the tubes before so I can't speak to them).

Finally a friend gave me a dozen of their contrast paints and I don't like those at all!  Too thin and washed out they are more like a shade Than a 1 stop color system they were touted as.

Latest filament order arrived:

20210529_IMG_2026.jpg.0c19d36deafaa6a4113a7b1073c11127.jpg

First time ordering from them, but had recommendations, plus they were having a sale.

Shipping was crazy fast, especially for free shipping.  I ordered Wednesday afternoon and the box arrived on Friday.

I've never had an order from anywhere that came with separate resealable bags and silica packets before.

I've got a couple more spools from my last order to go through (was expecting the shipping to take like another week) before I try this out. Was still on sale last I saw, and if anyone wants to try it out PM me and I can send you a link to get an extra 5% off.
