WhiteWulfe
Picked up a few bottles of ProAcryl myself. Base Set plus 15 others, a pack of Sam Lorenz Weapon Rack brushes, and out of frame is a bottle of Scale75 Acrylic Retarder. Seems like a nice baseline to work with, and yes, my definition of "pick up a few to try out a line" does indeed seem to be more like "get a touch over three dozen provided all the various basics are covered"

And that's precisely why I was so ecstatic to find out a shop in town carries it, as well as Kimera, and like a dozen other paint brands, three or four of which aren't stocked at many places in town, let alone western Canada... I'll try to do a comparison between their white and Dragon White, but I won't lie, I don't regularly use straight up white for all that much. In essence, I've been on a quest the past two or so years to try and find a "daily driver" paint that's actually readily available here in town, because being able to only order in paint reliably for about four months of the year is rather frustrating, involves too much planning ahead, and too much having to save up a bunch of money to buy in bulk to offset shipping costs... Love my Reaper Bones paint, it's just not exactly easy to acquire for us in Canada. I only really know of one online retailer that offers Reaper Bones here in Canada, and they don't have any of the "new" Bones paints (nothing past 9454 it seems, other than sets)... And while I definitely do love my oils, those are a bit more of a time commitment than acrylics are (aka it's a lot easier to set up and tear down acrylics, so if I only have 20 minutes to paint, I'm painting for almost all of that with acrylics)
WhiteWulfe
Picked up a nice little convenience/quality of life thing. A three pack of tattoo wash bottles, or as I like to call them, squirt bottles. Makes refilling water or other things so much easier, which is good since I intend on finally breaking my RGG Studio XL v2 in tonight...

They're Termagaunts, from Warhammer 40k. I've had ten of them (plus six? of the Genestealers (black primed aliens next to the paint cup in top left)) for ages as they came in the Battle for MacRaggae boxed starter set. I suppose I could look into getting a thread started up for them tonight after I do errands... 😛
Marvin
So I’ve been selling some stuff and shopping around waaaaaay too much in a favorite FB RPG sales group, and tl;dr the other day I picked up a lot of nine old d20 modules for, like, 40 bucks shipped, which was a great deal, but there was one book in particular that made it a must-have for me: I was vaguely aware that this existed but never had seen it in person, so a neat find.
Mad Jack
Two things of note, lately: I just found a 2-pack of seasons 1 and 2 of Stargate: Atlantis at Big Lots for $10... (Not that I really needed to be spending extra money right now, but $10...) And I just put 10 gallons of diesel in my furnace today because of the upcoming cold weather this weekend to keep the pipes from freezing - which means that Jack has heat and hot water (at least for the next day or so) for the first time since November...

Serenity
I hope this Red Box Games announcement is of interest to some of you. I was a bit surprised to see it, actually, since he cleared out his older metal inventory. I found this limited time offer his Facebook page. Tre is making some of his OOP metal humans, dwarves and goblins available again for a short time. The link below is to the FB post where he announces it. If you'd like to find his store, there's a link in that post, or look for redboxgames at squarespace. I restrained myself to only buying 3 sets of dice, and then remembered I needed so sleeves too.
