SotF
Well, found one of the Warhammer MMO Grumlock & Gazbag minis in an estate sale, they were in a taped closed blister and only $.50...looks like a fun thing to paint up if I can find a workable base for them.

aku-chan
A much lighter Kingdom Death sale this month, just Skrelle jumped out at me.
strawhat
Ahhh, acquisitions. How I've missed...acquiring...you. Nothing spectacular, but it's something. Or some things I guess. Army Painter "Character" brush (x2). This is my standard "go to" brush, even when I should be using something larger. Game Envy Hobby Holder (this time in Sky Blue). It's my second one. I often start the evening using one, but eventually just switch to holding the caps as it's faster. This time my Holder came with a new bottle cap and some blue mounting putty (Blu Tack, Fun-Tak, or some such). Game Envy Cap & Cork Stand (x2). This gets me to three stands for a total of 15 minis that I can rack up. The "puzzle locks" needed some trimming with the hobby knife before they would even roughly fit together. I'm assuming it's an artifact of the FDM process. Hopefully shaving those edges down won't mess with the filament in any way. Oh, and I picked up some Feldherr foam for my HeroQuest core box. I waited too long, so if I wanted the Mythic set I'd have to order it from the site instead of just getting it off Amazon. I settled for the regular set, and did a custom insert from Battlefoam. We'll see how that works out. They say they need up to 4 weeks...and, well, who knows? I might actually have some of the Mythic content painted by then!
malefactus
I haven't been buying any new minis lately,SO it has been a while since I last posted here. I was running low on a bunch of Americana paints. I ordered them & a few more directly from Deco Art: I may have gotten carried away...slightly.

Nothing excessive about it. 1 1

Evilhalfling
I bought a old Nolzur's beholder. 8$ not sure waht the diffeernce between it and the revised 17$ version is. I don't even need one for my game, when offered the option to hunt (for parts) a dragon or a beholder, the party went with the dragon. 3:1 Edited April 1 by Evilhalfling
haldir
Daughter needed to go to Boise today for Gem State Comic Con, so I went over with the family. It's not everyday I get to go over there on a Saturday, haha. Last year my daughter got 2nd or 3rd place in the cosplay contest so hopefully she keeps the streak alive! First stop for me was Hobbytown: Vallejo Xpress Colors - Lizard Green & Gloomy Violet Nolzur's locathah & seal (direct from the artwork that these 2 appeared in) Nolzur's Pixies (I think I have enough now for an adventure, something like 15 or 20 total ) Hobbytown brand sanding stick (100 grit). I needed a new one as my other has seen duty in resin prints, so it's not coming back to regular plastics. Next stop: ABU Games I really like this store. I'm glad I stopped in the last time we were over there. Nolzur's Water Weird Citadel Contrast; Guliman Flesh, Darkoath Flesh, Fleshtearer Flesh & Militarium Green (hopefully this one works, as the bottle has that white stripe through it. Hopefully a run on the vortex mixer will do the trick) Normally I don't buy plushies, but this one was I've had my eye on for awhile. Since Agdon Longscarf was such a memorable encounter for me during the Beyond the Witchlight game, I knew I had to have him. I'm glad he was there. I forgot to add this but this was my last Miniature Market order (took about a month to get to me, as it was % off sale they had. I mainly went after the Scale75 Instant Color paint, but didn't want to order just that, so I tossed in the Prismatics. If you haven't seen the size, there yah go vs a regular bottle of miniature-grade paint. Aren't they the cutest!!! Scale75 - Zombie Flesh Prismatic - Water Elemental, Ettercap, Ghoul Flesh & Gray Ooze (just noticed I grabbed the wrong paint bottle, it was Displacer Beast instead of Grey Ooze I got) Finally forgot this was in my backpack I take to the Weds Night D&D game. Store used to do a painting night with these, but it was kinda of a bust, so they stopped doing it. I just ordered this by itself. It came in that day. The prepainted GSH is ridicusly expensive, so when I saw this, I figured this would work. (thou after ordering, I've since gotten stl files for the GSH, never fails.....) Wizkids Paint Night kit (Giant Space Hamster)
WhiteWulfe
Acquired a few sets of waterslide decals from Evo... Real Grade Hi-Nu, Master Grade Rick Dom, Master Grade Yujiao Land Sazabi conversion (set of three), Perfect Grade Astray Red Frame, and MGSD Freedom. Was rather nice to finally get most of the ones I've wanted or needed sorted out. There's more in the mail, but they haven't gotten to me yet (DL decals for RG Hi-Nu, RG Z'Gok, and RG RX-78 kits)...

Hobbytown had a few Gundam decal sheets in stock so I finally got to see these in person. Nice looking sheets.

The Bandai ones are nice, although I prefer the detail Evo and Delpi have on theirs, because small tiny text isn't a blob - it's almost always legible. Same with the warning decals Axis does, probably because they get Cartograf to print them. Delpi decals are also reasonably durable while still being thin. DL Decals are alright, somewhere in between Bandai quality and Evo, but they're a touch thicker, and also slightly fragile, but many places also carry their sheets so it's a simple case of paying about $10 CAD including shipping on eBay and getting them in 2-4 weeks later. They also do some of the more oddball kits, which is handy when I don't want to come up with $80 USD worth of decals to buy from Delpi for free shipping.

I think the package has five rows, and I'm only in row two!

I'm not exactly sure of the brand, I just glanced at what I saw & was impressed with the foil colors & clear printing & yes anything printed by Cartograph has excellent clarity. I just wished Slixx decals would have used them vs Microscale when I was into Nascar model building. Several of the "rogue" aftermarket guys would use Carto for their printing & after awhile it was superior to what Slixx was printing out. I do see Slixx used Cartograph on a vintage drag racer scheme & it has gold decals. I may get it see what they look like in person.
