Two of the Kerby Rosanes books have art from other books (they're compendiums), and at this precise moment I can't think of which ones, but that fully Google Photos can tell me, and that would be Colormorphia and Kaleidomorphoa. Basically if it's one that has a dozen or two colour pages up front, it's a compendium of previous artworks. I mainly got those two because I wanted to be able to do some of the pics I really like a second time, using different techniques. That and some of the art you get the full two page spread, whereas the original book had a single page for it. Another note: I'll have to check which ones do this, but Creatopia (by Vexx) has a number of pages where you wind up adding in your own linework and/or doodles, and one of my Kerby Rosanes books also has this. Thankfully all the books I picked up have several flip through videos on YouTube which is handy if you're curious which artwork is included, since Amazon's previews aren't the best. There's also some really nice books jn the Mythographic line. I'm looking forward to ordering the "Voyage" one by Joseph Catimbang relatively soon, for example. "Pop Manga Dragons and Other Magically Mythical Creatures: A Coloring Book" by Camilla d’Erricois is also very tempting, even if I'm not really into the manga doll look. They're just so cute, and interesting looking...

I thought about crocheting but unless it's something simple I don't want to lose any bits or bobs. So have settled on coloring. Going to get myself a travel set of pencils + eraser + sharpener and then...a (singular???) book to bring. 2

Like alcohol markers I would question too. 1

Oddly, I was going to order these from Micromark, but the free Prime shipping on big A swung that choice their way. Micro-mark store on big A: flexible xacto-blades. These are for flash trimming. We'll see how well they work. Pic N Sticks. (2 each, total of 30 sticks) These are plastic matchbook style sticks with reusable sticky wax on the end. I have a few minis I need to paint up that will benefit more, not being glued to the base before painting. These will be perfect for that. A bit late, but I've been away from this topic for a little while... (Spent a lot of money ordering two 36V/10AH Li-ion battery packs to replace the old pack on my e-Bike. Also been buying battery-powered tools such as heat gun, angle grinder and pumps... Just a single 4AH battery pack costs around $60. Stuff gets expensive... ) Anyway, was fascinated by those blades, so ordered a set. I liked the wax sticks, but the only ones I could find was a 60pack, and I'm not certain I like them that much... Besides, I have a couple of 'wax pencils' from GSW that's made for this task. I did pick up tweezers for holding small screws, though. I haven't decided if it's going into my hobby toolchest, yet, or if it'll end up at the office. (The screws on modern portables are getting smaller and smaller. Way too small really)

(The screws on modern portables are getting smaller and smaller. Way too small really) I have to admit I'm kinda disappointed on those blades. They work to certain extent, but I think overall you'll get better results with a regular xacto blade. One of the biggest things about them is they are reversed = the blade is on the straight side. I don't think I've started to cut without turning the blade around. Why they chose to do it that way? I think I like having the blade a lot stiffer as I'm use to have a bit of resistance when shaving a mold line or cut stub, using those blade there isn't anything & it requires multiple times to try. That right there is annoying when you could have just done it in one pass. I do like that ergo handle, so I'll definitely keep using that. I'll just insert regular gold Xacto blades from now on. My main reason for the pick sticks was I have multiple minis that had no handle or bottom really to hold it normally & these fit that job. They are nice, but I don't think I'd need 60 either.

Oooooh, Mythic World, nice pick! There's some really nice designs in that one. 2

I was debating between this and Alien Worlds and this one just barely won out. It's gorgeous. I thought I was getting the premium pencils but ended up receiving the classic pencils. Need to go back and check I didn't get the wrong thing sent. 2
SotF
Well, one of the local Dollar Tree's upgraded to include their Dollar Tree Plus section... Grabbed some fairy garden pieces that were in the regular part, but the big thing that I found in the "plus" section were some pretty well constructed 1'x1' wooden panels. I grabbed 4 of them to try a modular game board for $3 each. I might go back and grab a bunch more to expand things if the first ones work out well. Going for some simple and general for the first ones, but I have ideas for later ones
Mad Jack
Received my copies of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything and Xanathar's Guide to Everything today. Found a good deal on a Ral Partha box set, 10-515 Ravenloft: Castle Forlorn, on EvilBuy - was supposed to be missing one particular figure, which I already had. Turned out it was missing a different figure. And both copies of that figure currently on EvilBuy are missing the weapon. Grr. Found a copy of Willful Child by Steven Erikson, the guy who wrote The Malazan Books of the Fallen series, at Dollar General for $3. His version of a Star Trek parody. Sounds interesting but I'll probably end up reading it months from now, lol.

I do see there were some single packs I never got (never saw them tbh). Picked up a couple items at the FLGS last night, nothing spectacular thou. clear playmat tube (came with 2 black D6s - at least they were pips) GW Contrast Hexwraith Flame - I stopped buying paint at my store as they raised their prices the last couple years, but this was priced at normal prices for Contrast. Good to know, if I need a Contrast paint & don't want to order. Also placed a order for the newet Paizo pocket guide - Treasure Vault.

It's just a base with a pair of footprints. [Looks at price online... 😱] Dang, most of those box sets are sky high (like Lord Soth's Charge).

Yeah, people keep trying to charge "collector" prices for that stuff - some dumbelf sees a shrinkwrapped box set in perfect condition on sale for $80 and decides his damaged box of junk is worth $80 as well, and now anybody looking at those items figures that they're worth $80 because that's how much everyone is trying to sell them for, and prices their stuff accordingly. It's a vicious cycle. Re: the ghost - Grenadier's Comedy Lords box set has an "invisible stalker" mini which is essentially the same thing, but with non-human footprints. Given that Andrew Chernak sculpted the Grenadier figure about a decade earlier than Dennis Mize's RP version, it's entirely possible Mize may well have done it intentionally as a tribute...
