Jasper_the_2nd
Been doing a fair amount of drybrushing lately , so grabbed a relatively cheap set off the big river. Figured I'd compare those to the dollar store makeup brushes I've been using. I also pledged for some nicer ones on a KS that is currently on, but they won't be arriving until the end of the year....

Luck didn't quite hold up, someone outbid me on one of them by a single pound! Managed to find another one though, but this seller was selling the two sprues separately, so it got somewhat pricey (Honestly I found that a bit scuzzy and would've preferred to get it from somewhere else, but there weren't any.) So know I've got Crimson Crocodile Armour, Smog Bard Armour and Death King Armour sets coming.
Mad Jack
Picked up an old 54mm Valiant Miniatures 9848 Fantasy Medieval Princess on EvilBuy today. Apparently, it's still in production, so I'm gonna go ahead and peel it out of the blister to modify the bust area to something less drawn-by-my-inner-nine-year-old... (Also just discovered that Valiant has the molds for the Magnificent Egos line... Shiny.) Edited September 3 by Mad Jack

How are these working out for you? I picked one up as well, and it brought me back into painting with a bang... and I probably should have picked up the Complete Set, as I've ordered almost every shade the Mega set lacked (except pastels).

Shamefully mine sit unused. Being in education, and just finishing the first month of the school year, I have had much free time these days. Glad to hear they are awesome. I will try to push to get to painting soon.

Last Knight
Also had a cheap airbrush from Amazon arrive today, played around with it a little just using water to get a feel. Once it's fully charged, I'll see what I can do about priming some figures and my texture palette...

And stuff I don't care about like barties, but with the two sizes of reapercon Sophie, I now haz all the otters. Those Kickstarter expansions seem to be the best way to spend ReaperBucks. I was very excited to walk away with a Dark Depths box, which I had been looking to purchase but never found quite within my preferred price range. But free is a very good price. Now I can paint mermaids for my four-year-old daughters, and a large moray eel for me!
haldir
Con goodies! In addition to the Swag Bag, & the Con Box, I acquired the following: Squirrel sticker I showed earlier from the Boise game store 'All About Games' before the trip down. Last month's Reaper offerings minus Sage Sophie. I will use my gift certificate for that one. Turbo Dork - Turbo & Dork paints Complete set of Chrome, base black & clear from Alclad, thanks to my generous roommate. We have been friends for years, she was one of the reasons, I decided to make the trip one last time. Probably my favorite things thou, are the following: Buc-ee's had their Halloween stuff out, so it was hard to decide, but I went with the themed shirt & plush. Now that I think about it I should have just got a regular t-shirt as well. Also, the tag is a sticker!!! This one will be special as @chaosscorpion surprised me with this one on Weds. Thank you for the generosity. I appreciate it!! 9
Gadgetman!
Remember my new Berlingo that I bought in late june? Well... Had a bit of a cool morning here. running the AC uses A LOT of battery power. Enough that if it ran the entire time, it would cut my range with 40%. That is of course not acceptable. So, this appeared in the post yesterday: That's a 2KW (equivalent) Diesel-powered heater... Yes, yes, heating an electric car using diesel may be a bit ironic, but as long as I don't end up as a peoplesickle, I couldn't care less. Going to pick up an extra battery and a charge relay to hook it up to, also. Don't want it to run off of the 12V utility battery in the car.

I've seen these get mentioned more and more, and am very curious at just how good at the job they are or not for basic zenithal priming. How standard are the parts, and how fidgety they are overall.

Jasper_the_2nd
A Couple Bolt Action things I picked up this week. I didn't have a sniper model for the British and the Ghillie suit ones are really cool. Don't really fit in with my 8th Army, but what can you do...... And for no particular reason I picked up the Hollywood Tiger. This depicts the "Tiger" used in Kelly's Heroes, which was actually built on a T-34 hull.
Neatpete
Local shop has this dope picture I wanted but it was way too expensive. Been thinking about it for a couple months since I saw it. Finally gave myself the approval to go buy it. Took in cash to try and haggle. Walk in ready to roll persuasion, and Bam! 50% off tag hanging on it. It's now mine! Was able to hang it and will now come down the stairs every morning to a sunrise that is out of this world.
