Oh, dear. They are attachments in my Reaper account.

For the first time posting old pix I tried to link them from the “My Attachments” pages linked throught the top right menu,  because using the “Insert existing attachment” popup window from the “Insert other media” box under the text window is so very clunky and slow, especially if one has six years of pictures to load twelve images at a time (and where the images are constantly changes because the pages are numbered from the most recent ones).

Anyhow, I did chase down the second picture again from the “Insert existing attachment” box.

This is a Thunderbolt Mountain 30mm wood elf next to a Reaper elf. TM elves are clearly little.

Please let me know if you can see this picture, because I can see them all from my account and can’t tell what does not show up.

I can see them too!

Do you know what they call a dwarf without arms?

Anything they want.

It's not as if he's going to chop their legs off at the knees or anything...

But he can still bite their kneecaps off or kick them in the shins...

Couldn't quote SKU numbers off the top of my head but I believe, at least at first glance, that you can probably assemble that mage figure from a combination of two or three other figures... A major conversion, but most likely possible to get it close enough to look right.

So now that you have hd some time @Mad Jack?

Lol - Give me a couple of days to study it and peek back through the older Reaper wizards and clerics.... I'll get back to you on it.

A dwarf not having arms doesn't mean that you're safe:

@Unruly Hey, thanks! I need to replace mine, glad to hear there's a sale on. ^_^

Will acquire later this week: two verrah nice DXRacer gaming chairs, one each for MrBoot and myself, for computer and everyday use, because our current chairs are worn out and starting to cause back pain. Here's a pic of the one I'm getting:

MrBoot's is exactly the same, only blue instead of purple. They were out of the model I really wanted, but this one is very close.

We've been planning to get these ever since I got to try them out at PAX last year, and with their Black Friday/weekend sale, now seemed like the best time.

We've agreed that these are pretty much all of our gifts to each other this year, but they will be very much worth it! :bday:

Huzzah!

I have the oddest feeling I have seen this drawing before (with slightly fewer spikes) in an old Incredible Hulk comic, circa oh, umm about 1974. I look at it and I can almost read the Rhino’s word balloons and banter.

LOL I got that exact same feeling from the picture as well. Looks like the artist borrowed heavily from the old Spiderman comics when he drew Thibbledorf Pwent.

Stopped by The Griffon after visiting my relatives in South Bend, IN.

I was very impressed with the store. It was awesome! Everything every FLGS could be.

As I browsed through their selection, two things stood out to me, and I had to take them home.

MEGA MINIS ANIMALS

IMG_4210.thumb.jpg.7356a809aa6604eedaac48eec5f042d2.jpg

http://www.miniatures-workshop.com/lostminiswiki/index.php?title=Animals_(Mega_Miniatures)

Mega Miniatures was owned by Johnny Lauk Who ran it for ten years, from 2003 to 2013.

Just about the time I discovered him, his shop had been closed for ten months. My understanding that when the closing happened some molds were sold. Some not, some were beaten up with no masters. There were many great townsfolk, dungeon dressing and animals in his line. These are some of my favorites and I find those sorts of things under represented in most lines. So I get excited when I can find any of them.

Looking around the web, neither of these are being carried by Turn Key miniatures. They are the only store I've found with reliable supply of old Mega Minis. If anyone else knows anyone else still open and carrying mega minis let me know.

My FLTS latest newsletter showed they received a shipment of new WizKids minis so I went for a looksee after work today.

Originally I was planning on getting an unpainted wagon set but I wasn't impressed by the contents and price.

The blisters were another story. At $5 CDN a blister:

-2 wheel cart x2

-pair of oxen (to pull the carts)

-pair of mimics

-silver dragon

-beholder

The two wheel carts have some pretty funky warpage going on, but I felt I could make do.

The oxen are very nice beefy sculpts and the mimics are great.

The silver dragon is small compared to Reapers recent Bones dragons, but it's a very nice sculpt for $5.

So the staff there know me as a regular and when one of them saw me going through the blisters he asked if I was looking for the beholder... What beholder?

They had brought 30 beholders in on the shipment and sold all but one in two days.

The one left had a damaged blister so they kept it in the back and good grief is this ever a Grrreat! sculpt! The best beholder sculpt I've ever seen in person and at $5 I can see how all 30 flew out the door.

Not the best pic of the blisters, I know.

Wanted to show a better size comparison on some of my newly acquired minis.

Was planning to show off the silver dragon too but it turns out a leg was missing from the package.

A cool thing about the beholder mini is that some of the eyestalks are removable and there are additional stalks included that feature various spell effects in translucent plastic.

And the ox and cart should fit quite nicely with Reapers pack donkey and camel.
