Minis you would like to see

Seems I've been hogging the topics.  Oh well.

So if you could, in the infintate wisdom of the painter (hehehe) talk directly to one of the sculpters at Reaper and convince them to do just one PC mini and one Monster mini, which would you do? what would they look like?

For me the PC mini is easy.  I've always wanted a mini of a wizard, mid 20's, dressed in flowing robes, long hair (some of it in a pony tail), hood pulled back so you could see the details of the face.  Holding a staff in his right hand that is not held in the air (cause I think that's silly), left hand outstreached as if he was casting a spell.  A shoulder bag running from his right shoulder to his left hip.  Face locked in concentration, fixed on his target.

The monster mini would have to be the Sahuagin.  Reaper has a lot of very cool monsters already (and I have heard of some hobgoblins coming our way soon), however, they are missing the sea creatures.  We need fish men, they make great sushi for parties!

Anyways, those are the ones I would want.  Anyone else?  Maybe if enough of us ask for similar things then there might be a chance we'll get it.

Hee, you haven't read all the past posts on this subject, have you?  :p

Actually, with all the threads and posts we've had on this subject, an amazing number of our requests have been met.

Mmm, Egyptian God minis.

Okay, ahem. Anyway. I'm still waiting for the Egyptian Chariot with non-undead drivers/horses.

And the Sphinx.

And I really need to enter the painting contest so I have a chance to win the DYOM contest so I can see this one in metal:

Scholarly wizards-A male and female with glasses reading a book. Both should be young (no beard on the male) and look like librarians. That would be great.

Female samurai! The male samurai are gong to be used in an upcoming OA adventure, however, the women players in our group need figs for their samurai charecters. Wearing armor and wielding katana and naginata.

Did anyone catch that Knights of the Dinner Table where they wanted to get a one legged dwarf for Bob, so they kept calling the Hackmaster company using different voices, requesting the figure a few hundred times until they had so many requests for it that it went into production.

Why does that issue pop in my head everytime I want a certain fig made?

Character - Not really sure. I have so many good ones already, and I tend to modify minis to make the ones I do not have. I tend to need monsters more than generic NPCs, and generic NPCs more than "PCs".

Monster - Bulette, identical to the 1st ed Monster Manual picture, free-standing (i.e. no integral base). Like the big scarab beetle or scorpion or turtle dragon minis.

(and Dragon Snack, if you are looking for a rust monster mini, I have a few packs of the old TSR one lying around. PM me if you want one or more).

most of the stuff that I want have been mentioned already, i.e. saughin, city guard, commoners, ect..

the funny thing was I have also been wanting hobgoblins forever so we took reaper half orcs and a couple of their bigger orcs, painted them tan with bluish noses and they look identical to the cover of Mongoose slayer's guide to hobgoblins.  I don't like the idea of half orcs so in my world peeps can play hobgoblins as a race instead of half-orcs, and also since the orcs I use are the new GW ones (the one thing that GW makes that I think surpasses other companies in design) so they made perfect hobgoblins for me.

Madzerker, Wargames Foundry also makes some "War Orcs" that look a lot like GW orcs. I am not a big fan of GW-style orcs, but if you like GW orcs you should check out Foundry's figures. They might have a few poses you could use. They also have smaller packs of them available besides the big horde.

Hmmm....madzerker....don't I have a bunch of items on my eBay watch list with madzerker as a seller?
