Hexxenhammer
D&D style hobgoblins! With the same options as the DHL bugbears. A leader, a couple packs of mooks, and a spellcaster.
Hexxenhammer
a couple packs of mooks Eh? Tommy. Mook (in gaming terms): goon, grunt, thug, red shirt, cannon fodder . Actual definition: Slang for an insignificant or contemptible person.

SIGIL
" O' the Year was seventeen seventy-eight. " " HOW I WISH I WAS IN SHERBROOKE NOOOOOOOOOOOWWWW ! " Love that tune, but Road to Dublin is what stirs me blood! ;) Incidentally I am looking for some inspiration for sculpting... Any requests? I am most partial to muscular humaniod types. "Rocky Road to Dublin" stirms images of a dwarven warband, with a drummer setting the pace, singing a marching shanty. I sat down n' started redoing the lyrics in that vein a while back. :) That might make for an enteraining read.
eastman
The first written application of "Mook" in gaming that I saw was in the Feng Shui system. It was used to differentiate the low level henchmen (that you could blast thru easily, often taking out several in a single round of actions) from the powerful big bad guys. In FS, the mooks are "unnamed" and therefore easy to get rid of. If you like the Hong Kong action movies, you'll love Feng Shui (it is a bad name for an RPG system, but it's a lot of fun). (IIRC the term comes from Yiddish)
Hexxenhammer
Savage Worlds uses "Mook" too. But they probably got it from Feng Shui. Shane and the Atlas Games guy are buddies I think. Anyway, it's a great word for henchmen.
Hexxenhammer
Anything to do with a fashion label of the same name? Tommy. I don't know anything about your crazy upside-down Aussie fashions. Or American fashions for that matter. My knowledge begins and ends at Levis and concert t-shirts.

Bill_Adcock
A fighter with a spear in each hand. A Troll-spider -- An head like the Thornback Troll, a lumpy, spiked torso with eight spider legs projecting from it, each one ending in a clawed hand, and a fat, warty abdomen. A little less ugly and it could be an Ogre-Spider. A giant snake with an adventurer's legs projecting from its mouth an a large bulge in its throat. More killer/carnivorous apes. Maybe one sitting down, gnawing on a splintered bone, with a skull in his other hand.

Yoshi
More oozes and puddings (like Frank the DM made many months back)and jellies. You can find those in your local grocery store in the food isle. Just open 'em up and leave them out of the fridge for six monthes and .....oh, wait, you mean D&D monsters! Now that's different. How about a poor hapless charecter getting devoured (disolved?) by a jelly. They should put a look of terror on his face and his sword is half melted. Now that would be worth picking up. Or a mimic disguised as an outhouse....complete with hapless pc. Yeah
Lady Tam
How about some shamanistic barbarians? Both male and female? We have lots of barbarians, but none that can be shamans. (Though the one female druid could possibly pass as one. Forgot her name at the moment, got the staff with the herons head on it) But a few cool Shaman figures would be cool. more Skoli figs, perhaps a magic using one, and of course a Hippocampus. Qwyksilver
Does anyone else have the feeling that LT is working on a rendition of the 12 Greens of Christmas? 4 shamans sacrificing 3 mystic mages 2 skoli skirmishers And a Hippocampus in a deep blue sea....
