Minis you would like to see

Wemics would be cool.

yeah, they would, call them Lion Centaurs to match the Spider Centaur = Drider nomenclature.

I still would like an innocent bystanders, er a townsfolk pack with children.  Maybe a boy with his dog.  Or a girl with a water bucket.  A woman with a small child clinging to her skirts or in her arms.

And I'll go a step farther and make a request, give them to Bobby Jackson to sculpt.  (you out there, RRon?)

I do think we need some younger mage types. We've got plenty of young females, but we really need some males.

And how about some older female mages? Not hags, and not those clericy looking ones, but honest older female mages, leaning on their staff but clearly very powerful.

Not sure if anyone said before (way too many posts to check), but what about lizardmen?

Not GW's salamader looking types.  And the few reapers out there.  I'm asking for reptile looking humanoids who are slim framed with thin long necks and tails.

MK had a plastic version.  And I think Ral Partha had really old kinds like these.  But no one's got these guys anymore.

They should be great for Mojh characters for AU games.

RAFM Reptiliads fit this description very well. I am not sure if RAFM still makes them, but I have had no real problems tracking down old packs of Reptiliads. The ones from the later "Universal Soldier" line are larger than the originals and fit nicely with 28mm/30mm minis.

There's a creature I'd like to see...

a Cataboleus (sp?). Ugly as sin, swamp creature, and big.

Something else is something with the body of a lion, wings and head of an eagle, neck and tail of a dragon (long and sinewy neck), with ridges/spines down the back. Front legs of an eagle, rear legs of the loin, and feet/talons of a dragon.

Don't ask me what I call it. I haven't named it yet, but it's a creature I've long been throwing at my players, and they always hate going against it.

Claw/claw/bite, breath weapon, flies, and it can sweep with that tail. Also it has some nasty reach thanks to the neck. Also, it's not something found (that I know of) in any Monster Manual, so no risk of copyright infringement.  :D

Multiple comments I suppose:

On orcs:  The reaper ones rock.  Pure and simmple, they are nicely sculped, look vicious, not comical (like GW) and they are actually what got me sticking my head over here in teh first place...

Figures I'd like to see:  Dwarves with Halberds/Poleaxes and Dwarves with pistols and preferably not by Olley (just a personal preference).  I'm trying to do some conversions to get these figs working and it's bloody hard to find parts to make it work without selling arms, legs and soul.

Secondly... none of this two swords nonsense.  Try fighting with it some time... it is incredibly difficult, it looks cool, but 90% of the time your head comes off first.  And the shield is a perfectly good second weapon... how would you like 5 kilos of laminated wood and steel in your face... mmmm... tasty.

On this two weapon thing... Dwarf with axe and shield with pistols in his belt (GW has some of these but they are OOP and e-bay expensive...)

My toonies worth

Personally I like the two weapon fighting style, but you have a good point. There should be more figures with only one weapon. Not evere character/player choses the two weapon fighting feat.

As for minis I want to own there are only a few I can think of at the moment that Reaper doesn't or is'nt on the verege of realesing.

For the love of Pete More younger looking mages! I have had it with Eliminster and gandoff knock-offs. Infact I have never played with anyone who played a wizard that looks like grandpa. Might as well make Santa a mage too.

Where in the blasted 9 hells are the half-orcs?! So so few of them. I think some cool half-orcs, maybe with a dubble axe would look danddy. After all, it is a primary race in 3/3.5 ed.

Is Klocke the only sculptor concerned with cool looking female minis? It almost apears as such. I know that more guys play fantasy RPGs then gals, but they do indeed play, and there are 2 of them in my group along with a guy - for some strannge reason- that always insist on female characters. Unless they are a barabarian of realative high level I susgest femals not arm there selves in combat as though they were applying to be a stripper.  I guess a bard of this type would'nt be all that bad, concidering the charisma as their primary weapon

Other than these sugestions I have none. For some strange reason Reaper has awnsered all my request that I have put out on the bullitines. Either I'm a secret VIP, or Reaper is just on it. I like to think the former.

You know, that is something I have always wondered about: the wizard's dress code. Where does it say, 'Hey, you are now a wizard, here's a bath robe?' What I would like is a miniature of a wizard dressed for traveling: boots, trousers, NO ROBE, but perhaps a tabard as it seems that a robe would get caught on everything the moment you went off the road.

In LOTR, obviously, right after it says "Be like Gandalf" and "It must be the robes."

Non-Gandalf clone wizards are always welcome, if rare. I personally find my best results using non-wizard minis and modifying them suits my needs. This is especially the case since I run a game system (GURPS) that does not have any "wizards don't wear armor" rules....so I have a lot of chainmail wearing wizard minis converted from clerics and warriors. Saw off the holy symbol, insert wand/staff/spell effect...

Speaking of wizards that don't look like Gandalf, how bout some that aren't 98 lbs weaklings? I remember once in a DragonLance book there was a sea wizard who looked like an arabian pirate, but muscle dude with fluffy pants and all that.  'Course I suppose with some mods almost any fig could do double duty as such a mage...

As for critters, here's one that hasn't been mentioned (to my knowledge): The Tarrasque! Big, mean, nigh unstoppable...it should be HUGE and gnarly looking so when you put it on the table your players have an epileptic FIT!

(No offense intended to epilectics)

Tarrasque!?!

Are you mad?

Its size is listed as Colossal, for cripes sake.  Aren't it's claws supposed to be as long as a man is tall?

Jebus, that thing would be as big as my 11-month old son, and weigh more than he does.

Cool, Sign me up.
