beowulf54
I have recently prchased a new camera. It is a Nikon coolpix 4300. The sales man said it would take excelent close up pics. I haven't had much luck with it. It has optical and digital zoom. It also has a close up mode. Maybe its my lighting. I don't know. Any suggestions. primeval
I am curious to hear opinions on this too; I am considering the 5 megapixel coolpix myself.
beowulf54
actually while I was waiting for comments on this post I was reading the manual some more and may have found better settings. I'll try them compared to the others and see how it works.
ixminis
My camera is the coolpix 995: 1. Background Neutral or Cool colors. White is too bright, Black is too dark 2. Lighting - Set it on manual & select incandescent if you have ANY incandescent lights on during picture taking 3. Use some sort of diffuser b/w the light and the mini. 4. Use macro mode Usually gets ya pretty close to a good result MichaelG/IXMINIS
