Bones 3 Chinese Temple Dragon

This was one of my favorite models from Bones 3.  I tried to add a slight POV Color edge to the scales, but it doesn't really come across in the pics,  there should be some Marigold yellow beneath the jade and ruby scaling.

nice work!  hard to photograph.  I like the color effect, it gives a reasonably good impression of a shimmer.

you've got a very nice transition between the green and the red on the lower body.

The yellow on the 'belly' looks good, too, the little of it we can see.

 

What kind of lighting are you using?

you may want to get it diffused a bit.

(A foldable light tent may be a good idea)

WELL DONE! The Dragon is DAZZLING; i.e., the color choices are eye catching & your work with the brush is quite nice. 

The Critique: the detailed base painted black & glued to a second base that is too small to accommodate it really detracts from an otherwise attractive miniature.
