Calling it a little early tonight because I'm half dead. 5 hours of sleep and then work all day is not particularly fun.

I'm happy with my progress for the night though. So much blending in my future.

You can hopefully see on the left that I'd started blending the darker colours while I was waiting for coats to dry.

There's obviously a pretty big jump from dark to light there but hopefully I'll be able to make it work.

Yes, yes, I also fuss at me to try things out before I'm in the middle of a 7 day challenge. Past Me continues to be a huge jerk.

very interesting!

I do like how you have blended the two dark's on the left wing but I think I am siding with past you...    This is adding a tremendous extra to the challenge!   (but I know you can do eeeeeeet!)

Oh man, sorry I missed you starting this, I've been rather distracted by Real Life lately.

Ooooo, Guindy, your Ma'al is going to be BEAUTIFUL!!! It's starting to remind me of a dusky sunset sky, after the sun's already gone down but it's still kind of light outside. Lovely!

You've got this! I know you can do it, and your Ma'al is going to be just FABULOUS! ^_^

Huzzah!

You nailed what my inspiration was. I'm glad it's coming across!

I was hoping to get both sides of both wings done tonight, but I'm just completely out of energy. I'm literally falling asleep at my desk.

So here's where the insides of the wings are at. At least I think I know how to tackle the backs of the wings to get them done a bit faster. I'm going to try to get a bit more sleep so I'm better set up for the long weekend.

The blending is coming along well!

"Coming along"? You're killing me, Pezler. ::P:

That's all the blending those sides of the wings are getting unless some magical force speeds up my painting threefold and I have an entire day left at the end with nothing better to do. Spoiler alert: That's not going to happen. ::P:

What? No! It all looks good, but for some reason I thought you were going to do a fade near the tips

Mostly airbrushed with Citadel paint, with a bit of Tamiya clear green for the eyes and additional gloss coat hand painted on the rotting flesh to add to the effect. Sneaked a bit of Nurgle's Rot as well just to add more Ooze to the rotting flesh.
Unfortunately I was completely out of idea and time with the rock base by the time I have finished with the dragon itself, so I just hastily sprayed it with sand brown, dark brown and a quick wash of nulin oil. I'll probably revisit the base later.

While I haven't try to play D&D, I have a friend who does, and his friends want some of their miniatures painted. Before I accept the request  want to see if my painting skills is presentable for gaming. so I pulled a couple of figures out from my kickstart rewards and paint them up.
All are done with Citadel paint by hand.

Can't show too much of the front of her, so here's some forum friendly pics. Not super happy with the sculpt on this one, I'm going to get the metal version and have another go after the holidays.

I couldn't come up with a scheme I liked for this guy, then me and friend were talking about tv shows we used to watch,  and she said Gargoyles and it just sorta clicked. Kinda simple but I think it turned out ok.

Well mostly scenic base.  Made a town centre that will get dressed up as a market once finished. Basing material is foamex with a plastic receipt spool covered in Milliput.  Painted with a mix of craft, PP and GW paints.  Further tinted with a treatment of oils.
