Bones You'd Like to See, thread #4

As someone who is nowadays mostly playing Pathfinder 2, I'd love to see some of the Pathfinder-specific monsters (and character options) get some minis. Some are quite visually distinctive, like the alchemy golem we fought the other day (which had a bunch of syringes, glass chambers, and so on). I don't know if the lead times match, but it would be even cooler if Reaper and Paizo could coordinate about what sort of monsters would be featured in APs a year or two out and include some in Bones.

I'll join in with whoever said they wanted two-inch dragons. Something along the lines of the current Young Fire Dragon, but in a few variants.

Oh, and one thing that would be super awesome, if Reaper could coordinate with Cephalofair Games and make affordable minis for Gloomhaven or Frosthaven. That could almost be a kickstarter of its own...

Giant ants!

Whoops! Looks like some giant arthropods have taken over this section of the mine! Our group of adventurers will have to clean the colony of pesky insects and kill their queen! And all those encounters can be resolved with just...

6-8 Worker Ants: small (dog sized, 1x1 base)
3-4 Soldier Ants: medium (dwarf sized, 1x1 base)
1 Queen Ant: large (horse sized, 2x2 base)

Aaand... Maybe some Ant Swarms and Ant Larvae too? Giant ants can be quite common as a low-mid level series of encounters and appear in D&D, Pathfinder and OSR games. I think they would make for a nice addition to the Reaper catalogue!

This would be a cool idea.  It's nice to have alternatives to other similar encounter types.  We have plenty of spiders, so why not ants?

Pathfinder Black Dragon from the old Starter Set. I know there was a resin prototype shown but it never made it into production. Would love to see it get made.

Pathfinder Ogres. These have been around forever in metal and are long past due to be in bones.

Kaladrax dire drake I know we've got a couple of undead dragons but let's get the original back

Considering the anticipated success of the upcoming “Pirate” ships… and the earlier request by another customer for longships… I would add the suggestion my wife wants… a Greek trireme with seated rowers.

Seated ties into another request, seated tavern patrons with matching standing poses of the very same characters, and where appropriate the same characters mounted on horses/camels/boars etc as appropriate.

Speaking of mounts… more pack animals. The donkey, camel, giant tortoise and packrat are great but more  beasts of burden (in different poses, with different loads, help make a caravan look less like clones. Caravans are great narrative pieces and often objectives in various games.

Speaking of caravans… Wagons and carts of all sorts with beasts in the correct harness to pull them.

One wagon can do a lot of jobs if you design it to have a modular load. A cage for transporting people to their final justice as crowds throw rotten vegetables at them. A hollow pile of straw to smuggle people set on rescuing the doomed prisoners, boxes, barrels and crates of vegetables.

Hussite war wagons.

Wagons with a large crossbow/arbalest/scorpion/ballista mounted on the back for anti-dragon air defense.

Traveling community/Romany home wagons. Traveling entertainers wagons that can turn into a stage for performances. Adventurers/monster hunters traveling wagon with appropriate accessories on display.

Back to ships for a moment, a Xebec for Sinbad/Barbary Corsair/Corsairs of Umbar fun with some fantasy version of historical Ottoman Janissaries as crew.

And not a shop but a boat…. river boats often feature in Medieval fantasy, Missouri keelboats may be a bit late but they look so darned cool and would work nicely for my Tarnished Splendor (Napoleonic Horror 7th Sea) project.

And unsurprisingly, more Tinker Gnomes please!

I know we are getting a great Krass Omenthrall sculpt in Bones 5, but can we get the other Krass Omenthall sculpt, too?  Krass Omenthrall (SKU: 03160) is a great-looking miniature!

I have him painted in my display case; he was a character in one of my long campaigns back in like 2008-2009, I think.

He’s an awesome sculpt!!

I´d really like humans and humanoids in postures of daily routine. Eating, repairing stuff, working, sleeping sitting (and playing cards or dice), standing lazy guard, being drunk, you name it. This for encounters, raids on (orc) camps, dioramas ....

Closed wagon with removable top; pulled by oxen, with sitting folk. In fact a whole caravan would be nice! Settlers, traders...

Tavern brawling scene (Brinewind?)

More mundane animals; farm, wood, exotic....everything

More giant insects

1920s and/or modern/futuristic:

terrain pieces, cars, ordinary folk

Big mesoamerican  pyramid (several parts, modular); aztec fighters, wizards, folk; terrain pieces

oh, I nearly forgot: more busts!! I´d love to see a Lich bust, monster busts, cthulian busts....
