Glitterwolf
I like to paint busts and larger scale figures. Lately more and more... I would like to paint a Female bust of a Rockabilly/50's/60's type of girl. Haven't seen one yet. Does anyone know of a suitable bust?
KruleBear
If anyone would know it would be Milosh. His specialty is pinups. He used to be active on cmon (you can search his name over there), but I believe he focuses his energy on facebook now. https://www.facebook.com/pg/Miloshs-miniatures-1490954711135549/photos/?ref=page_internal His Wip for painting a Napolean bust on cmon is one of my favorites yet and it is like ten years old now.

Glitterwolf
The Andrea ones are large scale full minis and in a pinup pose. I would like a bust ( 100mm 120 mm or something like that) not an overly sexy one, a bit is allright but nothing too explicit. One that can look like a rockabilly girl, think hairstyle and outfit..

It's just the working outfit, I would like to see something I can paint as a polka dot dress or something like that. She does has potential though.
KruleBear
Go to figone and search for busts they have a couple that may have some promise, but are probably closer to a 70's / 80's aesthetic.

The Punk Girl is kinda nice. Maybe Rosie the Riveter is the closest one, I also saw a bust from Marylin Monroe from Nutsplanet, maybe with a different hair colour and some other paintjob? It seems I'm looking for something that doesn't exist (yet)

Getting harder to not do; Lots of companies migrating their unofficial or official communications there or other social media. I try to get by with dummy accounts to at least cloud the trail.

But as for now I'm fully content in not doing business with a company who is solely active on Facebook.

I took a leap of faith and bought a dragon bust from Winton Afric through Facebook. Everything turned out okay, but the process had me quite anxious.

I stay clear of stress inducing stuff like this.
