Her armor definitely has a Gladiator vibe to it.

Yes, it was the armor layout which inspired me to convert her to a gladiator.  It just seemed like a perfect fit for her.

This is a very successful conversion and the gladiator outfit is spot on! I wish you the best of luck on the competion.. I believe you have a winner here.

Hello everyone, I completed this one last night. 02615, Female Bloodguard was sculpted by Dennis Mize. I removed the axe she was holding in her left hand and replaced it with a shield from a 14359 Crimson Knight.

Hi everyone, here are pictures of the first model I painted this year. Seems like I'm having a busy January...
02789, Talarand the Blackguard was sculpted by Tim Prow. It's one of the top five favorite model I painted so far. This suit of armor is astounding.

Quite large, painted this for my Dad's birthday. He loves to collect hand painted knights, soldiers and such. So I think he will really like it. I could do more with the base, but the birthday is today and no time left. It took me about a month to paint and put together. I kind of like it the way it is, maybe it showcases the rock and the figure better if it is not so busy with other stuff.

The Shield was the hardest part. I am not so great at freehand and then deciding to muck it up with blood and dirt was a really tough decision. I read in quite a few places that the Pegasus was a popular figure found in Roman art (seen in pottery, mosaics and such.) Hopefully I am not too far off the mark historically, but my dad is more into the overall look than historical accuracy.

At this point, I've done enough Arena Rex that I should probably just dedicate a single thread to collecting them.  So here we go.

Finished my version of Mangu Timur just now. The pictures may not be that great 'cause i'm a bad photographer. Would like you guys to say what you think of it.
