Say what you will about The Orville, it doesn’t skimp on the visual effects. Of all things, I find The Orville's music to be lackluster.
Sergeant_Crunch
I like me some Star Trek (been watching Voyager for the first time off and on lately), but between what I read about it and having to pay for a service for a single show I may not even like I'm going to pass until it is available elsewhere. Lars Porsenna
If Discovery ever makes it to Netflix I'll probably binge watch it there to pass judgement. But from what I saw of the first ep I'm not going out of my way. Unfortunately I do not think the current custodians of the property are doing a great job with it. Netflix seems to work very differently in the UK and the colonies. For instance here in God's own country we have Discovery on Netflix (it's made by Netflix so why wouldn't it be). But you have Supernatural on Netflix over there, and we don't.
Lars Porsenna
It has to do with regions. If CBS had streaming in the UK you wouldn't have Discovery on Netflix either. But since CBS DOES stream in the US, they "block" Discovery from US customers on Netflix. The joys of international borders & markets...
