look for the d&d module "out of the abyss"   the starting story has an appearance from demogorgon in it.  I can scan the cover for you or the character image in the book if you cannot find it online.   It is a darker and scarier rendition of him than normal.

So, trying to apply something I learned in Aaron Lovejoy's air brush class, I sprayed the Scale WF SS German Camo shade, I sprayed from a 135 degree angle from below, as this is my shade color for the blue green parts of his body...

(See above description, and yes, I am using a green grey...)

Next i sprayed sc WF Fieldgrey 39 mixed 1 to 1 with the camo shade, from an angle of 135 degrees to 45 degrees on all the parts...

I really experienced what Aaron meant in class by seeing that the cone of an airbrush is like a ray of light....

ie it moves in a strait line, and as such, shows where your light and shadows should go...

I then did the same with SC WF Field Grey 38, again mixed 50% with the camo shade....

then straight Field grey 39 then 38

Results:

so now onto the step between my mid tone and highlight, which I plan to shoot from 45 to 90 degrees....

thoughts?

The place that I added to the mane with GS can be seen, but I'm satisfied with it...
