So that was it. That was the conclusion to everything.
The story was over. Case closed.
It had been a promising beginning and - apparently - everything ended well.
Shadows, highlights, colours. All looking good. Especially the tie and trousers impressed me.
But then again, there were some things I weren't really satisfied with.
I took a drag from my cigar, buried in thoughts.
The colour had never reached the gun handle. There was just a small cover of blue. Shouldn't it have been in wooden colours?
And then this belt. I now remember that I used it back when I was a homocide detective, but I still didn't buy it. Guess I was just getting old. Damn that drinking habit.
Finally the name. I never found out who Max Decker really was. But that didn't matter anymore. He was gone.
Got a call from Janine this morning. She asked me to accompany her to Minnesota. I've never been there, so I said yes.
I took a last drag from my cigar, then I put it out and left the room.
Some time to relax. And who knows? There might be another case to be solved.
We will see.

tie and pants look awesome! Love those pinstripes.

I actually really dig the contrasty sash on the trench, I think it looks pretty good and balances the figure.

I agree the gun could use something. Maybe not wood, but a darker color. If you want a silvery look, you got it, but I don't think I buy the hardscrabble private eye carrying a chrome pistol.

nice work on the base, too. Love my texture stamps!

The figure looks great. Love the trench coat and the stubble. I would dark-line the gun in his jacket since it has similar tones to the shirt. I thought the area was a pit stain. XD

Good ideas on the gun! Perhaps if I do him again for a diorama in the future. Maybe I'll tweak it and dark-line the edges before sending him off, but I don't think I'll change the color overall. I'll leave that for the future. Thanks for the C&C ::D:

Awesome work!

***Another case solved, sure it did work out different as she expected, but it always does.***

*** He tipped his hat as the cops took her away, she had taken him for a schmuck , well that was her mistake***

*** He turned around and headed for the bar, he could use a drink***
