Not knowing the area, how's the hotel's restaurant?

From their website....

Houlihan's

Houlihans menu features center-cut steaks, wood-grilled flatbreads and artisan salads and sandwiches, along with an interesting, everyday wine and cocktail selection. We offer many dishes in both small and large portions and are dedicated to developing menu options that address ever-evolving consumer lifestyles — be it meatless, organic or whole grain items.

Its a bar from what the pictures show, not really a restaurant. Also, since it's a new hotel, it's all new to everyone, so we are all kind of going in blind.

Hrn. Nothing ever easy...

Who's organizing it, it not being an Official Reaper Event?

Bryan is no longer ReaperBryan, so I don't believe he had anything to do with the rate/hotel.  He is now Secret WeaponBryan (or WeaponB).

My brain and fingers seem to have an automatic program to type Brian after the word Reaper even though I meant Reaper Ron.

Curse You Arthritic Fingers!

So I've been scouting about using Google maps and I've found a few food options near the hotel. There is an In-N-Out, McDonalds, Whataburger, Chipotle, Panera, Chili's, Cracker Barrell, Raising Canes, Chik-fil-a, Starbucks are all just on W University Dr. The Rudy's BBQ is actually about 5+ miles "down the road" and those without a vehicle may have to use a Lyft/Uber.

Or catch a ride with one of us who will be bringing their own vehicle, which  includes me and Mrs. Monster.

After explaining to my wife why I probably shouldn't go, but maybe I can go if I fly, and moaning a bit about traffic, I was given very pointed direction.

Booked.

Someone was very disappointed that I was considering not going. And without her.

Which is why she earns the moniker of Awesome Wife.

Drive looks like 23 hours - which effectively means at least 2 more likely 3 days each way, and an oil change at either end.

seems bad. Delta flies for $350 right now.

Room reserved, since cancellation is free. Flight not. Will try, but no guarantees - too much chaos between now and then.

My thoughts as well. Seems like flights took a jump this week as they were around 300.

Since we have a inventory count today (no I don't work for CMoN :poke:) & the boss lady is off tomorrow I'll put in my request on Friday morning. Fingers crossed!!
