50 days remaining, is everyone ready?

I'm definitely not.

Other than securing events when they go up, we're ready as we can be!  I see others talking about airfare - we're actually going to cannonball run it from the upper midwest in our car (14 hrs plus stops).  I hope my system can handle that much beef jerky and pork rinds.

(PS:  First time to Reapercon and FIRST POST!)

Welcome to the forums.

This will be my 2nd time attending and I found it to be one of the best Con's that I have attended so far. Everyone is pretty friendly & respectful.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask, someone will be sure to provide a good  & helpful answer.

I've started my competition piece!

...Getting most of the parts you need counts as starting, right?

I am woefully behind on where I want to be in my preparations too...

I should be ready for all my classes, so there's no concern there, but I haven't even bought my plane tickets yet!  Also, before I can start on my competition entry, I really need to put together the Dungeon Dwellers painting tutorial for this month, and I'm also trying to finish a personal mini (an Atlantis Miniatures dwarf which I will hopefully use as a RPG character as well as an entry into their online dwarf painting contest)!

I even had to totally give up on painting any competition entries for Gen Con, but just attending will use up valuable painting time between now and ReaperCon!

I started 3+ months ago.  Had to; I haven't been able to focus enough to complete things on a compressed timeline.

Completing things on a compressed timeline seems to be all I'm capable of. Case in point: the only huge minis I have painted are the 7 and 5 day Challenge ones.

...This does not bode particularly well for my planned competition piece. Which is not small.

But hey, at least I can use big brushes this time! ::D:

Forgot it was at the end of Aug this year. I don't do much  and live nearby so preparing is easy.  I just need to make sure my little one has the entries she wants to enter ready.  Oh and she keeps asking what the theme is this year but I have no clue.

Dreadmere is the theme I believe.

I showed her the new Sophie pic that Izzy colored and she was all ready to do that.  I told her it might be a little late for planning something that extravagant. :)

Not even close. With my uncertainity of even attending this year I fell behind in prep work. I'm slowly making my way through minis right now. At least pregens are thought out. Now to actually work on them. Doesn't help that Hero Labs' 5e program is completely wrong for 5e Life Clerics.....sigh.
