Oh! Forgot I was going to ask a favor of people attending.

If you have any empty dice boxes (such as Chessex sets) that you're not using I would love to have them. I have way too many dice sets and I'm trying to organize them. So contributions of boxes would be highly appreciated.

I have a bunch of dice boxes (15 Halfsies Dice boxes) that will hold a complete set of 7. I am also hard to find, but try hard to meet people during the forumite bingo/meet and greet.

I don't know if I'm going to get my diorama entry finished in the next 17 days   I'm still sculpting the base, and waiting on a paint order.

My diorama might be the only thing I get done at this rate. I needed to not get sick this weekend. :zombie:

My stuff was finished.  Then I took a good hard look at my open entry.  Although the conversion was well executed my paint has come a long way in the last 6 months, especially my view on color and contrast and what wss satisfactory now leaves me unhappy.  So it's back to the drawing board.  Fortunately I like the color scheme, it's just the technical aspects that need work.  Instead of a second diorama or ordinance,I will improve what I have.  With luck I will make it.

In related news.  Scale75 dropper tops are not super secure.  Today one tried for orbit.  The top wound up in my light fixture and I now have some golden slippers but fortunately the paint spray hit the empty and utility section of my desk, not my active projects...

I finished the freehand on my entry (which is to say that I finished the first pass on the freehand but haven't yet started to shade it and highlight it. And it really needs to be cleaned up more.

So I'm at about 30% finished on my freehand.

Then I just have the rest of the figure to do.

It's a good thing we still have weeks before the con. (Two is plural.)

It's official. I'm coming. And there is nothing you can do to keep me away.

--- Edit ---

Oh wait... I'm supposed to have something painted?

That is so terrific!  Hope I get some time to game with you while we are there.  Seems strange to have to travel 1000 miles to find time to get together with someone who lives across town, but sometimes life is what it is!

two weeks to rework the body colors on my open entry...  Its a good thing I enjoy a challenge!

My big challenge is getting my travel kit together for actually painting and finding good projects to bring along for my class samples.  Too much time spent on either tabletop stuff or near finished competition pieces.  I also need to remember to bring along samples of all the mini materials I work with (styrene, PVC, Resin and metal so I can get help with some of the adhesion on those materials

I am excited but nervous about having everything ready to go.

Enjoying a nice break in the summer heat! 84 degrees right now. Primed the last remaining 3d printed items this morning & spray matted the painted stuff right after that. The weather is making hard to go inside & finish prep work.

I also ordered the last remaining item I was missing. Item cards, gonna use those for my rpgs. I had a 5 dollar coupon so I just applied it to shipping & upgraded.

Oh forgot to mention it's my night off too....

Plus, the bunny is over visiting. :)
