Wonderful! Will it just be the regular swag bags, or will the VIP one be available as well? Asking for a friend (and myself ::):).

Since it will be left-overs, we can't answer with certainty until next week.

It is unlikely VIP bags will be online.

Breath deeply and remember you can pretty much beg or borrow anything you need while your there.  Relaxxxxx...

Yes you should bring your light and brushes, people get picky about those

Just remember, no mini is ever really done...

i'm fairly calm, except for travel. Traveling could potentially be a nightmare, and i'm worried the husband will get a migraine like he did back in 2016 (which made it a awful trip, that ReaperCon was very bad for me, for several reasons)

my class should hopefully go well, i'm trying not to worry about that. I'm confident my competition entries are as decent as they can be so no worries there

really it's just the travel worries

Mentally, I am ready to leave. Otherwise, well, I have nothing packed, my entries aren't done, I really need to do laundry, there is a bunch of cleaning that needs done, and I have 2 roleplaying games in the next 3 days. But, my brain is ready to get in the car and start driving.

So my first time taking a class - appropriately enough, the mini=painting 101 class. What materials should I bring?

Bring your own brushes, a battery powered ottlite, and magnifier if you use one.

Everything else should be provided

We start driving on Tuesday after work.  We'll cut out a little early, come home, feed the cats, and start driving towards Texas.  Sounded like a great idea at the time, but it means we need to be ready and packed before we go to bed tomorrow night.

I just got my brushes and other odds and ends around, and put away some GenCon goodies that I hope to jump on when we get back.  Today I did an oil change on the car, since we'll be putting down some miles, and cut the grass so it's not a hayfield when we get back, and Mrs. Zoxe has laundry covered.  I've done dishes 3 times in the past 2 days and still somehow the kitchen is wrecked, plus other cleaning and chores.  We'll get there ... but ... phew.  Vacation is hard work.

A notebook and pencil, brushes, example of your current work, any magnifying eyewear you need.  Paint, cups, water, and paper towels are provided along with anything else the instructor thinks you need, like a figure to paint on.  There are usually lamps for the classes, but not enough to go around so if you have a battery powered one bring that.
