A swan is only a CR 1/3?! What.

A swan could totally kill a commoner. CR 1/3 is lowballing it.

No kidding. Swans are evil barstids.

I once saw, live and in person, a nesting swan karate chop a seagull with its neck.

You could be a dire rat megaswarm and there's any question?

I get to be a singular animal. More animal shaped, because I keep all my own base abilities. Though being a rat swarm for Great Justice! would be amazing.

So members of our Pathfinder group are trying to put together an all Vigilante team, where every member of the party is a vigilante (aka medieval super hero). You may remember the guy wearing the flashing hulk mask, that was his character in his alter ego, the Green Bastard.

So in trying to figure out what character I could make as a vigilante, I found an archetype that allows someone to transform into an animal as their alter ego. I asked the husband which animal would be the most ridiculous as a superhero, and he almost instantly said Platypus. Unfortunately, platypuses are tiny animals in Pathfinder, and it needs to be a small or medium animal as the base animal.

I'm still thinking about it, and I think I am going to go with that archetype, but I haven't decided if I should play Detective Savage Raptor, (Who of course would be a velociraptor) or Super Llama (or otherwise ridiculous animal).

Also, @pcktlnt if you want to join/witness the insanity, right now I have 4 vigilantes signed up for my Wednesday 6PM heroes game next week. We could use the Vigilante pre-gen if you wanted to join in.

In case anyone is curious, below the cut is the list of animals I could be. I am still looking for suggestions on what would make the most kooky / interesting super animal.

I’d say octopus, but then you’d probably be stuck being the healer.

Cuz when it comes to alter egos, they’re doctors you see...

If I was in a water based campaign, I would probably go with the flying piranha.

 I probably could have edited the list down to realistic choices, and not a data dump of every small and medium sized animal that had been stated in the game.

I'd probably do a cow theme. Their wiliness is underrated.

 Definitely go with the Llama...

Your secret identity could be a writer for the local newspaper's gossip column who is secretly using her gossip contacts to dig up information on criminals...

And you can call yourself...

Spoiler

 The Drama Llama !!!!

I thought of the drama llama.

But I think I am going to have to go based on mask availability. And as such, I am going in a couple different directions. There is a frog mask available, though.

Just placed an order with my mother, while she's in town, for cheeseburgers and antihistamines.

One way or another, this ends.

If Grump comes in whistling Winter Wonderland or Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow, there is not a jury in the world that would convict me.

naked biking seems like it would be impressively uncomfortable.

Yet they do it.

At least once a year, year, after year, after year.

Ami's parents were among them, and they were in their seventies.

And aren't even FROM Seattle. They were in Oregon for their daughter's wedding, and stopped in because they were only a few hundred miles away.
