02712, Eyebeast on custom base

I just finished a custom base for my toothy Reaper Miniatures 02712, Eyebeast. This model was sculpted by Julie Guthrie. It is also part of the 10031, Dungeon Horrors Box Set. I added two eyestalks on its head. The eyestalks are from Reaper Miniatures 03440, Creature Components II.

 

I used Blister Packaging Plastic and Mod Podge to create the saliva dripping from its maw and realistic water effect on the base. I also added the bull skull and skeleton parts and sculpted mushrooms in greenstuff to complete the set.

The Beasty is a BEAUTY... WONDERFUL brushwork, GLORIOUS colors,  & a LOVELY base featuring an OUTSTANDING mushroom. VERY WELL DONE!

It nice to see one of the Beholders escape the usual dungeon scene & get a breath of fresh air.

It's amazing how much more I like this figure with the added eye stalks. Painted mine with minimal conversion, but I think I might have to grab another and play with it a bit. Excellent job on this one.

JGroeling, I'm happy you enjoy the additional eyestalks. I really like to convert my models and Reaper have a nice selection of conversion kits.
