Sylverthorne
Being consistently Nice means I have more ornament than I really need... so I put the spare in the nascent BoGW. >.> Annd... I have a Yule Elf, who may end up not being a specifically Yule elf, headed my way eventually. ^^; This has been fun! And slightly less dangerous than last year.
Mad Klingon
My guess is that if your receipt says you get a stocking, you will either get a stocking or a close approximation of a stocking if they really ran out before your order was put together. Christmas Elves tend to be an inventive motivated lot.
Pochi
I ordered at 1 am Reaper time. My shipping was going to be nearly $50 (no idea what the heck was going on with that amount of shipping, it is NEVER that high) so I said screw that, if I am going to pay that much, I may as well get minis so added on enough to get free shipping. So I am getting 2 of the 25th anniversary minis, 2 of the Christmas elf, and my order says a stocking. I am seriously hoping that shipping quote was some kind of mistake because that will seriously curtail my ordering. I also hope I get the stocking since I had to pad my order!

Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted December 17, 2017 Moderator Share Posted December 17, 2017 Also if the stocking is to believed I have been nice this year as I just received my 1st of 2 Reaper orders I placed during the Twelve Days promo. Stocking included 9 Bones minis, 4 candy mints, 2 bottles of paint, assorted bases( not sure what to do with the hex bases), and a Reaper tree ornament for my Reaper Tree. Plus I must have been extra nice as there was also a bottle of wreath green paint in the box.

Man I bet I blew through 1/2 my wreath green bottle doing my 2-D design piece:( prolly close to the same with gingerbread cookie and frosty blue:( Oh well, got an extra frosty blue in my stocking:) And wait, the announcement says the lump of coal is an eraser?????, really??

Gadgetman!
You can still burn it, but I'd be very careful not to breathe in the smoke... 9 hours ago, Pochi said: I ordered at 1 am Reaper time. I don't see no reason not to pad anyways. Shipping for even a single mini starts at $21 (or something like that) for international shipping. The Norwegian customs starts harassing me the moment a package's value+shipping is more than 350NOK(around US$40) So I can order up to 4 metal minis(depending on price of course) without paying ludicrous handling fees($15 or higher) and 25% VAT. Instead I decided long ago that 'To Elf! with it!' and always buy enough to get free shipping. At least the handling fee is divided by more minis that way. My order went in at about 3am Reaper time, so fingers crossed...

But, even in USD the shipping was way higher than usual for a $50 order. I ordered paint caddies so maybe that was the problem. They shouldn't be too heavy but will require a larger box I suppose. Not like I had to try terribly hard to pick things out but my husband wasn't too thrilled since I have been choosing all kinds of minis for Christmas and still have my hoard of the unpainted! I usually try for the free shipping but wasn't going to be too worried about it this time but the difference in my order to the free shipping was only $5 more than what it was cost for the shipping so...more minis for me! Fingers crossed we both get stockings!
moriarty777
It was fun... Got my package / stocking today. I got coal. lol On a serious note, the colors of the paints look awesome but they are frozen solid. Something of a cold snap the past few days here in Montreal. I'm hoping the paints will be recoverable but I guess time will tell. Reaper paints flow quite well compared to others so I'm hoping for good things. Otherwise, I lost the chance to use some cool looking paints. Anyone have anything like this happen to them? M

Since you're Canadian, I really recommend using Canada Post's FlexDelivery service (you get a PO box, and it's free!) so they'll deliver any package directly to a post office of your choosing, where it'll stay nice and warm and dry. I've been using it for the past two years as my default shipping address and it's the only safe way of getting temperature sensitive shipments. Yeah... I am afraid they may very well be finished. I'm allowing them to thoroughly thaw out and I'm hoping the nature of Reaper Paints might be a bit more forgiving but I'm not holding my breath either. I will have to check about the FlexDelivery service. M

Mad Klingon
Received my order placed on Sunday morning. The stocking was a winter themed paper bag full of goodies and a lump of coal. Thought the sku of 1225 was interesting. Hope all of the Reaper elves are getting lots of cookies.
