sparky
After seeing what is required for the tourney at origins, I'm going to make a few signs that hang on the CAV that say right on them "extra armor +1" and "ECCM pod", no reason to mess up a good model with modifications. Gobbo
Not a bad I dea, but I like to do mods, so I probably will anyway. :)
nadinbrzezinski
Yeah that is me as well. Heck I have been going through the bits bin at Game Empire looking for Mod material... I think I have the beginings of a psyro or two... from some Legion of Steel minis. Ah those lumps of lead where top of the line back in the days... and they were rather cheap. Gobbo
I have a Psyros Conversion started, but can't find a main gun. I have started with a Syntha Fig from Void and added GW Tyranid Arms from a Lichtor [sp?]. I then used large plasma guns from the Syntha and shoulder mounted them, I just can't find a good main gun that isn't too big or too small. :(
Daley's Dragoons
Never have had much luck with mods myself...simple ones I do alright with, an arm here,a leg there, but thats about it. Just don't have the eye for it it seems, and much like with greenstuff is less than stellar :p
smokingwreckage
DID SOMEONE SAY LEGIONS OF STEEL?? By Global Games? NNNOOOO!!!!!! Don't hurt them! Don't hurt them! I'll ransom them! Just pleeeeeeze don't chop anything off!
Gobbo
Just a hint on greenstuff, keep your fingers wet, and try to handle it as little as possable. Remember, if you can cut it down to size after it is dry, do so! You get a smother finish that way.
Daley's Dragoons
Thanks Gobbo, I'll give that a try the next time I gather up the courage to try my hand at usig greenstuff again, which will probably be after the holidays, will be hard enough trying to find time to paint. Ahh the joys of a retail job during the holiday season, the friendliness of last minute shoppers, the 6 days a week for only god knows how many hours, just so many I could never list them all here. Gobbo
Another tip, keep your tools wet too, and if they are metal, keep then clean and polished with a dremal buffer. This keeps the GS from sticking to it.

Spire
@smokingwreckage I and my local shop have tons of LoS minis we'd love to get rid of. Send me a PM and we'll work something out! Spire
