I love the colors! They are just subdued enough to set the piece, but bright enough to keep it interesting!

 

Personally, I'd probably brighten up the stars, though...and think about OSL around them on the manger?

i plan to try a bit, now that basecoating is done i can start getting a bit fancier with the paints
