I know, right? I think it's the combo of the oversized shoulder pads, and the pretty face.  The colors help with it too.

I'm pretty sure I boiled him at one point with a whole bunch of others when I first got him, but no, I didn't do anything to try to straighten the sword.

This is the guy you were painting on lunch breaks at work, right?

 

He turned out very nicely, and is an excellent example of what you can accomplish with just a little bit of painting time each day.

Yup. To be fair, I also put in about 2 hours worth of work at home on him after getting the basics done at work.

Nice color choices.  I love the blue and you did a great job with getting a really smooth and buttery gold tone from the metallics!
