Kitbash/unit construction suggestions for dismembered Vanquisher

Well, making new arms could be fun, but might be pointless. Could turn it into a ECM/recon figure by building a module to go over the cockpit and attach in to where the arms would have gone. Sort of like what they put on AWACS aircraft.

 

Barring that, chop it up further then base it on a 2 or 3 inch base, and paint it to look like wreckage. Then you can use it either as décor or gaming terrain.

I'm thinking the bowls of two plastic teaspoons minus their handles, glued together lip-to-lip, scored with a knife to represent panel lines. Build a custom variant of the Vanquisher in CAV CP to include an APA (or, if you want to support the Atlas II, make a custom BattleMech with ECM/targeting computer).

If you have the appropriate bits(Mechwarrior Dark Age stuff is a good source for this), you could replace the gun arm with some form of industrial equipment(digging arm, combine, whatever looks good) and call it a combat engineering unit. Just say the funky arm is a minesweeper or something. :)

probably this. Or maybe use a couple strip styrene and sequins to make a missile launcher. Or maybe both and magnetize them modular.
