The Dark Crystal returns to theatres - no, really.

Soo... I stumbled over this while traipsing the 'net, and it seems like some of you might be interested.

I was only about a year old when it came out, so .. I .. um. Haven't .. actually seen it before myself. <.<

 

As far as I can tell, there's no actual ticket sales on this site, but .. gods know, I've missed stuff before. If I have this time, I won't be sore if the link vanishes!

I think I am due to pull that one off the shelf and watch it with my boys.  I saw it when it came out, took a girl from my high school biology class on our first date.

The Dark Crystal is one of my favorite movies. I saw it on the big screen a couple years ago as part of a film festival weekend at Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC.  I'll still definitely go in February if a local theater is playing it.

Thought I saw it mentioned for Alamo draft house or some place that shows old flicks.

 

I do know we saw it on one of the streaming services (Netflix?) and I was wondering if my daughter was old enough to enjoy it or if it would freak her out.

Might be an idea. We have some theater gigs on the weekends in Feb, but I think they might be over before the last weekend.

Looks like tickets will be on sale starting Jan 12. The fandango app will send you a reminder when they go on sale too, if anyone uses that. I may just go to my theater and ask soon...
