I don't have any particular goals for this week aside from surviving it, so I suppose not forgetting to breath?

Hobby bonus: Start painting the minis that I've got lined up to work on next.

Remember those goals from Monday? What progress did you make?

(Didn't make goals on Monday, make some for this week.)

(Also, if you didn't make all your goals, no problem. Just list what got in your way, and what you are going to do about reducing/removing that in the future.)

I did indeed manage to avoid forgetting to breathe, so goal accomplished

Even managed to hit the hobby bonus, amazingly.

Filling in for Thes this morning. Today's silly question is:

If you had intro music, what song would it be? Why?

Oh, gosh, there are so many tempting choices, but if I have to pick just one, "DOS" by Ayria.  Because I love it, and because I can definitely relate to several of the ideas it touches on (feeling separated from the world, being trapped in your own head, unhealthy martyrdom, etc.).

It was either this gem or a compilation of all the spoken word intros Cradle of Filth have done over the decades.

Oh, sweet Midian,

I burn for thee at heart.

Don't despair me,

Come bear me,

On wings of graveyard-wrought leather,

To where pleasure rings deep secrets in spurts after dark.

(Honestly, I don't care for much of what Cradle of Filth has done since Cruelty and the Beast, but "Tortured Soul Asylum" is an exception ::P:)

Depends.

There are a few things I believe I'm really good at.  For those, something like "The Game Has Changed" or "End of Line" from TRON: Legacy.  Something nice and dramatic and vaguely electronic, something that says "Why, yes, I'm here to save the world.  And I can."

Spoiler

For most of the time, something calm and unassuming.  If this isn't one of the few places where I really might be awesome, let's not play the awesome music.  How about "Balto" from the album Creid, one of the Xenogears rearrangement albums?  It also sounds Celtic too, which can be a plus.  Or, if that doesn't work, "Papillon (On the Wings of the Butterfly)" by David Arkenstone?

Spoiler

Fun fact: "Balto" is a rearrangement of the piece "Bond of Sea and Flame" from the Xenogears game.  There is another rearrangement album for Xenogears, Myth, which is a collection of orchestral versions of pieces from Xenogears.  My wife and I used the version of "Bond of Sea and Flame" on Myth as the processional music for our wedding.

Spoiler

Fun fact #2: In the Myth version of "Bond of Sea and Flame," there is a music shift around 2:40.  We didn't plan it this way but that started the exact moment my wife started walking down the aisle.

Fun fact #3: I was overwhelmed.  I'm the one who almost cried during our wedding.

What is your opinion on Snow?

I think it's pretty. I'm glad I live someplace I don't have to drive in it often, or shovel it. I'd much rather have snow than one of the massive ice storms (or tornadoes) prone to this area.

I like it unless I have to drive with idiots in it. And I prefer snow when it isn't interfering with a commute. But it is pretty and fun otherwise.

It's white.

For the most part it doesn't bother me but it can get extreme at times then I don't like it. Give me a foot or so that I don't have to shovel/clear every day and it's fine. I was looking at some photos from a few years ago when we had nasty snow thinking I should post them here. One was me shovelling the shoulder deep trench to my front door and another was head high drift on the side of the road. Those were not fun winters.

Pick a city anywhere in the world that you haven’t been to, but is top on your bucket list. Then say why. :)

Washington. I’d like to see the air and space museum.

My phone has decided it is something called  Sleep Like A Baby Tonight by U2. The phone just updated. There wuz all these new buttonz. One of them shaped like a musical note, I mashed it and it started playing that. Autocorrupt is bad enough, but now the thing has picked a theme song for me.

It would never ever occur to me to have my own intro music, left to my own devices.

California native...so I have never seen snow. This will change in a few weeks. Taking a trip to Alaska and it's going to be wonderful damnit. WONDERFUL! ^.^

That's a terrible excuse. I grew up in CA, and can tell you that CA has fabulous snow! The Sierras are a wonderful mountain range for snow. Okay, it sucks a bit when you're not even 4ft tall at 8 years old and have to shovel a driveway that's 5ft deep in snow all by yourself.... but the snow can be fun! One year there was so much snow it was up to the rooftops, so we climbed the roofs and went sledding on them ::D:
