I've owned that model ever since it came out and it's still one of my favourite dragons. Very nice job on it. I did the no buying new minis thing for a few years. My painting slowed to almost nothing. It seems that buying stuff is a large part of what gives me inspiration to paint. Now I'm just trying to buy less than I paint because I have a huge backlog. I've done ok with that if you don't count all the Bones KS but even so I think I'm gaining slowly.

It's been in my possession too since the 80s.  I started collecting minis as a young teenager who somehow stumbled into a hobby store with her father (who really had no interest himself), thought minis just looked cool, and convinced him to buy them for me. But aside from 1 or 2, I only finally started painting them seriously this past year.  I'm amazed that all the majority of what I've collected has survived the multiple moves I've done since junior high.

I have some very specific ones I'd really like to get going on.  So I'm hoping having that list of favorites will help.  The hard part will be not window shopping minis and feeling that urge to splurge.  Yesterday I had to resist buying some old Rackham minis I pine for.
