If he is truly to be the nemesis, he must be a mostly monochrome orange. It is opposite on the color wheel from the blues :poke:

Now I need a large horse figure to paint blue, for Blucifer, the Demon Horse of Denver. Image result for blucifer DIA

This looks awesome. Really dig those eyes, and the blues are coming together beautifully.

Of course, the blue lion also puts me in mind of the old Simpsons reference after Lisa sees Bleeding Gums' spirit in the sky...

"You must avenge my death, Kimba... dah, I mean Simba."

"Luke, I am your Father."

"This is CNN."

Hopefully, you won't be crushed and killed by your creation.

I worked on him a bit more yesterday but need to snag photos. I'm working on getting the top half brighter, lower half darker (to an extent). Got peak highlights to Ghost White.

For color lineup thus far it is...

Ghost White

Morning After Blues

Sky Blue

Dragon Blue

Midnight Blue

Nightmare Black

Vallejo Game Color Black Ink

I'll probably have a wee bit of Pure White eventually. A lot of mixing colors is being done, mostly between adjacent colors. But, if I want something light but more gray, I can mix the Midnight Blue and Morning After Blues - it would give a very gray, slightly blue result. Mixing Sky Blue or Dragon Blue gives a more vivid result. Nightmare Black also mixes reasonably vividly with the paler colors, but I haven't needed to do that much - I mostly see that via glazes.

The eyes are NMM Gold Triad with I think Chestnut Brown or Arbuckles Brown from S75, black ink, and I think the pupils are a solid black of some sort. The highlight was Dragon White.
