The small add ons will likely get stretch goals added to them over time, but I agree they seem expensive.

I figured the stalactite pack was a low price since it is cheaper than Reaper's pack per piece, and the camp pack I figured was cheap because it is has an LED fire. 

 

Unless you are comparing the painted DF to unpainted stuff. 

 

But your mileage may vary.

The DF Stalagmites (both the KS6 pack and the older KS2 pack) are in a completely different league from the Reaper Stalagmites. DF's stalagmites are massive solid beasts - they make the Reaper stalagmites look like soda straw formations; piece count alone is inadequate to describing the value. I would highly recommend those packs to anyone who wants stalagmite terrain.

 

(Note: the KS6 stalagmite pack includes corner pieces which are mostly designed to liven up wall corners; if you're laying out stalagmites on a mat, the set has a bit less value IMHO...)

Agreed on the stalagmites. That said the Dwarvenforge minis are nothing compared to Reaper quality. :)

 

Not that impressed with the whole underdoom stuff.

Yeah, Underdoom mostly feels like the same set, in a different, incompatible paint scheme, needing transition pieces. The floating rocks are cool, but not worth that hefty price of admission.

 

Sysuul fit naturally in with KS5 pieces, unlike this. If they offer the crystal caverns in normal paint scheme, might pick up some of that, but the rest....

 

I hope the forest pieces are more of a draw.

I think the camp pack is the steal of the kickstarter.  $10 gets you 3 beds, an equipment pile, and a functioning LED campfire.  So basically you get the LED campfire for what, $5 if you're assessing costs of the purchase?  Find another LED campfire for $5 that isn't a tea light.  :P

I just got the chance to check things out more in depth. I am kind of surprised at how little I care about the Underdoom encounter. It is nice, but nothing I am going to go out of my way to purchase.
