A chance to check things out you say? In DEPTH? UNDERdoom? :P

That wasn't even intentional...

Pledge manager doesn't have forest stuff yet. If I get most of what I want a la carte (minus forest) I'm at 300 US $ which is way beyond my budget.

May get a natural bridge /staircase of violence and whatever minimal forest set becomes available... If I get anything.

Okay that's just not fair!  I thought I was going to escape and then they release not only the ice caverns which are georgous nut now we have the forest with just looks amazing.

Looks like I will be joining the kickstarter after all.  From what I saw at Gen Con though the pictures don t do it justice, the terrain is amazing!

Im a bit disappointed with the forest.  Its not as modular as I was hoping.  I was hoping for free standing trees and not tiled in trees..
I think it looks great but its not as functional as I would have liked.

From what I was told yesterday at Gencon, The free standing trees are coming towards the end of the kickstarter / during pledge manager.  Take that for what its worth.

I am kind of hoping for terrain trays with grass texture printed on them. These would be great to fill space on the table and to build on with cliffs and whatnot.

Were there terrain trays for sale separately in 5? Considering some with a few pieces, but not sure how necessary or how flexible in variety sets would be. Keeping an eye out for comments on received ones to gauge my own interest. Is it better to get edge pieces and fake the negative space or get the tray and make do with edges of negative space (only have Tablescapes)

Here I will paint the inhabitants of the world beneath us.
You will find Drow, Myconids, Beholders and all sorts of cave dwelling creatures here.
I might also try my hand at some terrain or buildings.

      Some stuff that awaits painting:

(forgive me, very new to the forums)

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
