Lady Tam
I got a PM and all it really said was "game on!". The other PM was that i got a basket of bread and fruit...that's all. So I was going on the assumption someone would come get me and tell me Halbarad wanted to see me. LT
Leech
The PM I got told me that George was gonna be knighted (yay!) but he had to get to the meeting first. I asked Steven about the technicalities and he said to roleplay it amongst ourselves and see what happens. Since George is currently a squire-at-arms, he was easy to find and while I hadn't intended it to be the day before, a slight misunderstanding between me and my oppo has resulted in a good plan and what should be fun to rp. As far as I'm concerned, my original post was the previous day to the meeting. Perhaps Roman and Janara have been informed the same day since they're also Crusaders proper and not local merc type assisting people (perhaps that's not quite the right way of describing it but hey, I'm winging it), but either way, George has been ordered to gather his companions from his trip to Port Gangrel and meet Halabrad - hence why he went off to find Ben, Rai and Jasmine. Hope that clears things up some.
Leech
Okay, just so everyone knows, as things stand, Ben and George were to get thrown out of the mage's tower and then wait for Rai and Jasmine a little way down the street - right styates? Did I miss anything? However, seeing as people are doing stuff, I guess we should fast forward......
styates
That was the basic plan, I'll post up something real quick and get us to the tower.
styates
Nice to have a friend in The Background, Frosch!!! It can be a lonely place sometimes.
Unglef
Ok, what the hell time is it? I was under the impression from others' posts that the meeting with Halbarad took place in the evening. But George has spent a full day at the armorer's and now Rai and Ben are eating dinner. Steve, can you clarify?
Lady Tam
Fine I see how it is! First I get Rai all jealous, then I send Ben off to apologize and I dond't even get mentioned in the post! Man, Rai certainly has bad memory to forget the "blonde" Ben was talking to so quickly! Sheesh! Think I will just go sit in the corner and out! LT (Just joking you two love birds...) Spike
I've been wondering what time it was for a looooooooong time. I was at first thinking the meeting was in the morning, but then ..like you said. Obviously the knighting ceremony is to take place in the morning to follow (which I'm pretty sure hasn't come yet). So am I correct in guessing it's evening now? And quit yer moaning Alicia and Rai. Try being a half-orc and see how THAT helps your love-life. *pout*
CripDyke
don't fret, Janara! Aeolene'll try to help.... of course, she does everything 7 times slower than everyone else 'cuz of the long-lived-thing, but...
Anastrianna
Hey LT, LOL!!! Ben was just so sweet...don't worry Rai might not have mentioned it but she still remembers! As for the time, I thought the meeting was either in the morning or early afternoon, if anything we back tracked a little to wrap our RP up. styates
Well, Ben sure as heck wasn't gonna bring it up!!!
Lady Tam
I have no concept of what the time is. Just going with the flow at the moment. I would assume that George spent most the day at the smithy and is now going to spend the night in Vigil at the chapel. So I think it somewhere around late afternoon early evening. What's sad Janara, the only person seeing any action is the mage! And she just spent two weeks sequestered in a tower and he STILL waited for her! Ain't that just sweet? LT
Spike
Yeah that's sad, Alicia, but what's REALLY sad is that here I am, trying to chat up the ONLY other halfway-decent half-orc in town, but the big dumb palooka is too busy watching that Spiderman-wannabee of a hafflin'.... grrrrr. WHY OH WHY OH TELL ME WHY am I a sucker for the shy ones? Meanwhile there's the question about the flowers. It's not Ben, nor is it Malachias, so maybe do you think it's the elf? Unglef
Steve, what time of day is it? When was the meeting, and how long has passed?
Spike
I promise if I knew I'd be the first to let y'all know, but he's not told me anything solid. I'd guess Janara's encounter with Joe and Zeke at the wizard tower was meant to be after-noon, as was Fin's encounter with Alicia and so forth. (I thought the meeting was evening too, but then when all the other players started posting about how they were spending the remainder of the day, I just decided to go with the flow (to quote Lady Tam) and play as though it had taken place in the morning or midday. It's confusing me too, but luckily so far I've avoided saying "good night" to somebody who's still thinking it's lunch-time.... ugh..it's doing my head in. I'll be glad when Sir George gets knighted and can defend Denelspire against the marauding Time Bandits. (edit) If it helps, I'll start adding times to my posts. This OUGHT to help decrease the chance of anybody accidentally going back to the future.
