ograx
I am under the impression that payment is not withdrawn after completion of the actual KS but rather months later and there is plenty of time to change actual pledge amounts and add items. Is this correct?? On a sidenote after going through my bones 3 core set I bought this week and looking through the figs I actually feel for the first time in a long time that I actually got more than what I paid for. Very happy with the value and will support any further releases that come out.

Is this correct?? No. On Saturday Sept 2nd starting at 6PM Central Time, when the Project ends on Kickstarter, pledges begin to process. This can take a little while, but is usually almost instantaneous. The amount you have pledged will be charged at that time. You can, post project, until closing of the PM, make additional purchases in the PM (Pledge Manager). At present time, the Pledge Manager is simply a Pledge Calculator tool to assist you in figuring out how much to pledge. It will not become the actual Manager until several weeks post project, after we receive the funds and data from Kickstarter. 11 hours ago, Serenity said: I believe the answer is in the Kickstarter FAQ under "How does the Pledge Manager work?" Basically, you pay what you pledged when the Kickstarter finishes. You select what you pledged for in the Pledge Manager. Then you can add more money to the Pledge Manager for more rewards until the cut-off date. The FAQ gives more details.
gloranphile
Has anyone started compiling a spreadsheet of models for Bones 4? Couldn't find anything via search... I know ReaperBryan compiled a list of models for Bones 3, so seeing something like that when it wraps up would be excellent!
Glitterwolf
A stupid question maybe. I understand the PM will collect the pledge at sept 2. However the KS ends at sept 3?? Is this correct?

Some tech will change that to reflect your local time zones.
Grayfax
Day 30 Infobits Summary Quote My inlaws just delivered my Bones 3 loot (they live in the States, I took the time hit to save on shipping) and I am seeing the massive wonderfulness of the Fire Giant Jailor, the Titans of the Tide and the Behir. What size bases should I be looking at for those? --- a 2" base might be a little small, try a 2.5" or 3" base Quote do you wanna try explaining the logistics --i keep pointing out its magnitudes harder--for parting the expansions? Or telling me im completely wrong --- ultimately its about cost. We can make the expansions for cheaper because they exist in one combination. Breaking apart the core, you'll find the Core Sub-components are more expensive than the Whole Core because it's more expensive to have to maintain 3 inventories of each item than one or two. Quote Do you have the king cobra handy that you could measure the eyes? I found some gorgeous 4mm manmade opals I would love to use in their place, do you think they'd fit? --- the eyes are 5mm diameter Quote I was curious at how close in size the wyvern from the core set is compared to Blacksting Wyvern? --- the Core Set Wyvern is about 3" or so on its largest size. BlackSting is..11 ish? Quote So, Dance of Death is (going to be) fareaking phenomenal. BUT, is it the Ma'al of Bones IV? Or the Dragons Don't Share II even? --- Nope. It's the Dance of Death of Bones IV! But seriously no we have other things planned that are capstone models more like what y'all are used to Quote thanks for making the pole toppers more usable by giving us 6 of each! Any idea if those are suitable for adding small metal posts for use as DwarvenForge pole pieces? --- given that DF and Bones use the same base plastic. i would assume you can do that, yes Quote Do the Kickstarter corporate accountants send you guys a fruit basket and thank you note when you announce a new Bones campaign? --- nope. They did ask us to attend a creators summit once. I went. It was interesting. Learned that all creators have variations of the same anecdotes. --- Is that ALL you learned?? --- no. But it was the most interesting thing I learned. Honestly we were panelists at several seminars so it was more teaching. Bones 1 was a top 10 projects at the time it ended, so we were invited as speakers Quote Also please note - just because we've started breaking the core, we're not done growing the core - there's definitely more to come! Quote Love the character of those new townsfolk sculpts! Who did them? --- Bobby Jackson sculpted the new 4 Townsfolk. Quote interesting way to break up the core this time! I like it! Will these groups get added too as it goes? For example will the new townsfolks get added to the villagers subsection when it's unlocked? --- Future Core Adds would be grouped into their own groups, and broken out as we can. The existing Villagers set is fixed at this point.
Laoke
Quote And after that - Let’s give have some Dungeons to adventure in! We’re cooperating with Frontline Games to offer these brand new Stones Dungeon tiles! These double sided tiles add personality and flair to your game space, and are compatible with all major manufacturer’s resin and plastic tile sets - but without those pesky walls getting in your way! This set includes 10 each of the 4 double sided tiles shown. Tiles supplied unpainted. You can receive this reward by increasing your pledge by $49 and selecting this reward in the pledge manager. Any chance we could get dimensions on these Stones Dungeon tiles, please? Including thickness, it would be a kindness. [Edit] Ah, looks like someone actually did some research : ) Thanks Charley! 1 minute ago, Charley said: From their website-- "2" x 2" & over a quarter of an inch thick Dungeon Tiles" Edited August 31, 2017 by Laoke Answered in other thread

Glitterwolf
Question regarding VAT/Customs. I live in the Netherlands EU. So I pay VAT /Customs now in the PM. When you send my orders through your UK hub I will not pay extra. HOWEVER if BREXIT takes place, I will have to pay VAT/CUSTOMS a second time because now I get my stuff through UK which is no longer a EU member then. Please keep this in mind and if BREXIT happens and this will be the result, just send the orderd directly from the US to The EU. So we don't have to pay Customs twice???? Or do I misunderstand this somehow? EDIT: I like an official answer since the KS comments go in all directions. I don't mind paying Customs/VAT I do if Brexit means I will have to do it twice. I need to know if pledging is still worth it. Edited September 1, 2017 by Glitterwolf

Bryan in KS Comment you're asking me to answer the "what if" one one possible scenario on a law that hasn't been written. it would be ILLEGAL for us to collect taxes and a) fail to pay them for you or b) refund them if the law did not permit us to pay them.
Moderator OneBoot Posted September 1, 2017 Moderator Share Posted September 1, 2017 @Glitterwolf Further quotes from Reaper in the KS comments: Quote we've asked our legal department to clarify re: Norway, Switzerland, but of course all this came to light at about 2 am our time, so please be patient while we investigate Quote I assure you we will do everything we can to comply with the laws, and that includes refunds of taxes where necessary, and making sure that you do not get hit with unexpected fees to receive your parcel We will *always* post updates with any changes to policies as fast as we are able to do so
Grayfax
Day 31 Infobits Summary Quote The current Core extras "sets" won't be broken up further. If you are hoping for one or more specific models alone, you will have to wait until they release to retail in 2 years Quote Hard to keep track of so many comments, so if this has been said, forgive for the repeat, but what about a charitable mini for Harvey relief? Maybe a special mini or reprint of an older one that you sell as an add on at more than the profit you would make and give the difference to Red Cross or something. We could add on to our backer amount so it's collected in two days. Just thinking how to help through our hobby. --- Kickstarter has rules about charity fundraising on their platform. If we do such a thing, it would happen on our main website and independent of this project. I can confirm that it has been discussed. Quote Backer 1: So if I were in Reaper's marketing shoes, I would target my KS communication to high pledgers Backer 2: So strategy is focusing on existing high spenders rather than developing new clients? --- Not at all. For us, attracting new backers is priority. That's why we work to make the core so big, because ti is the single largest attractor of new backers. If we only cared about increasing pledges from existing backers, we'd have no core at all and only offer buy ins. Quote so what is currently or last you mined, the most popular and least popular mini's in this KS? --- Most popular single figure - Roc. Least popular single figure - Gauth. But the data for Core Set Extras won't be considered valid for at least 72 hours after reveal Quote Since everything that gets announced will be added to the PM, does that mean additions could be made down to the final minute? --- yes! We tend not to announce anything new in the last 30 minutes or so, because traffic once crashed the kickstarter and that cost us lots of backers. Quote My only concern is warping. Reaper? Any tests? --- Stones dungeon tiles as a product have been on the market for over a year at this point. The box I have is entirely unwarped. You can check them before you buy at frontline gaming's website. Quote Are the tiles just printed cardboard or are they modeled. --- They are not cardboard. They are sturdy 2”x2”x1/4" gaming tiles made of Bonesium. Quote Are these Dungeon floor tiles expected to be compatible with Dwarven Forge Game Tiles? Same thickness and "2 inches" square (not a ⅛ inch difference to ruin a whole layout)? --- Same thickness, same size, no pesky walls, double sided. Quote What's the point of decorative toppers? We have no pillars or posts.... It's like giving us vinyl window blinds when we live in a cardboard box. --- They simultaneously complement existing product in Bones, and also serve as decorative elements for those who like to make dioramas, scenery, or terrain Quote Who was the sculptor on the astrolabe? My husband and I love it. --- Jason Wiebe Quote Did I forget to mention that in that Fantasy Scenics Set, the Ritual Circle, Well of Despair, and Ruined Doorway are designed to fit into the Dragons Don't Share Tower and Stairs? Quote As much as I'd love to say, "Ooh! Stone Giants!" my initial thought is, "wow, talk about dinky. . . ." I'd have to see them in relation to some of the other recent giant sculpts, but those guys don't look any bigger than the old Bones II metal Stone Giant sculpt. Kind of a let down give all the Huge giants that we've had. I guess I'll have to cross my fingers for Bones V. Scale issue aside, they're good looking sculpts. --- Ron: I wouldn't categorize the Stone Giants as dinky. They're about 90mm tall, give or take a mm or 2. It's difficult to perfectly scale concept art, digital sculpts, and actual in-hand models together but we do the best we can to accurately portray the sizes.
dwarvenranger
I'm curious how the stone giants scale with the Rise of the Runelords prepainted stone giants.
Pochi
I have two questions. Regarding the stone tiles, after the kickstarter fulfills, will those tiles be available through Reaper or through the other company? Regarding the pillar tops, will those eventually be available in retail? Thanks!
Grayfax
Day 32 (September 1) Infobits Summary Quote Any chance we'll see more comic adventures on the front page? --- We currently have Izzy working on priority art for model concepts for the final day. Quote Why are other upcoming goals not being revealed? --- at the final 48 hours we drop down to only one pending dollar goal so that it's easier to reach everything. If there's *always* three, then its mathematically impossible to reach them all Quote Mossbeard Treeman? Wow, a name like that is like boaty mcboat face --- Mossbeard has a time-honored tradition in the halls of Reaper. He was our first freeman, and we've made several variants. This is, by far, the largest. He's as tall as (according to Jason) a beer bottle. Quote Fan Favorites [Expansion] will be a 4 parter. Quote Did y'all notice one of the penguins was a Dire Penguin? Quote 190mm for the portal ... or the whole.. piece with base and foo dogs" It says 'wide', so the whole base --- The whole object is 190mm, base, portal guardians, and portal.
