Very nice!  Surprisingly gruesome...

Love the Hiroglyphic base...very nicely done.

Never ever thought of doing mine in Turquoise !

Great Job

Thx !

The glyphs were applied with a Roller Pin from Greenstuffworld, they have several different kinds.

I like him!

Love those rollers!

Thank you!

Yes those rollers are awesome.

I have plain, Aztec, Egyptian and Greek right now and I might pick up more.

It's an awesome easy way to create nice bases.

Captain, my captain!

I am confused, though - it is a mummy - why does it have bloody arms and knees? Isn't a mummy supposed to be long dead?

Just noticed - hihi - that came out wrong. I mean: Shouldn't a mummy have dead flesh instead of bloody flesh?

Doesn't make him less adorable. He has a nice smile. Sis might immediately marry him. With his knives, he seems to be the perfect husband.

I figured his wrappings are coming off and dried blood is all over it..

I love the colored warppings, I've never thought of doing wrappings of a mummy in colors other than white and linen. This has opened my mind to new possibilities.

Thx!

I think mummies look good in white, brown, green or blueish wrappings.

Nobody said being undead means you stop caring about your outfit!

      My stash will arrive today!
I haven't done a WIP in a very long time , something I intend to remedy.
I am extremely excited to get my hands on my contribution to Bones 5, the Whispering Ghoulsbane. Maybe more so than any prior piece I have made. Seeing as how I don't actually have the mini in had at this moment, Id thought I'd fill this space with some history about the concept.

I like to watch reviews for feedback on pieces I've made (and learned a lot).  A few review waffled on what the thing was, exactly. Part of me revels in this ambiguity -it is what you want it to be. That said it does have a mundane monster  origin story.......wait, say, lets make a game of it!

Which "old school" monster served as the primary inspiration for the Whispering Ghoulsbane? take a guess.

Wait wait wait! it's here, at this very moment! Delivery! let the prepping begin.
      Step 1: Open the bag.

      That is all for now.

Hello everyone, I'm currently working on an Ogre gang and completed the painting on this model last night. This is a 77455, Ogre Smasher sculpted by Bobby Jackson. I swapped the top of its club with that of the 77454, Ogre Clubber. I also added three more skulls at his waist belt. it was all painted with Reaper MSP paint. I will complete the base later since I may add more elements to it.

Just a random assortment of the first painted from Bones V.  I sort of cheated...my Kickstarter arrived yesterday but I borrowed these in advance from a friend who got theirs earlier.

So, youngest vixen's boyfriend mentioned my hobby when hanging with his friends.
They like to play board games etc,.
One of his friends asked if I would paint the minis for his Board Game - Dark Souls for him.

      So...I agreed.
He will let me know what he'd like for the bigger monsters.
As for the characters and minions, he let me decide ( oh boy, shall I paint a rainbow skeleton?)

      Anyway, here it goes.
