Nunae
Well, I would really like to use this dude as Graz'zt https://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/prince/latest/03086#detail/03086_G but he doesn't have the little triangles. Does anyone know if he is as tall as a normal humanoid or taller? He does have the tag "giant".
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted January 31, 2018 Moderator Share Posted January 31, 2018 If Derek ( @dks ) is around, I'm sure he can answer since he sculpted it. I'm pretty sure that it is in the 40 to 50 mm range though.
alchemist
Sir Forscale to the rescue! Nephal is approximately 52mm tall and suitably endowed in the digits department.

Nunae
Uh, thanks you three, he seems to be a perfect fit for Graz'zt. And yes, it's a gorgeous miniature, even though I'm pretty sure mine won't look nearly as good as the one painted example in the store
dks
Hello! Derek (the sculptor) here. Sorry I didn't catch this thread earlier, but I'm glad @TaleSpinner and @alchemist gave you the answer you were looking for. Yes, I intended this figure to stand about 9' tall at 30mm scale. AD&D 1st edition said Graz'zt was 8' tall, and 3rd edition said he was Large-sized. The base of the painted example is 40mm-diameter. Anyway, thanks for choosing this figure, and have fun painting him! Please post your version to Show-Off when you finish. People around here will be glad to praise you for what they like, and (if you ask) suggest ways to improve. Derek
Citrine
I recently bought this mini due to this thread!
Nunae
Uh I totally forgot to look in here again. It will take some time for me to actually paint him, since buying is easier than painting and I have quite an impressive painting queue already. But this seems to be a common problem. I'm just glad about any demon lords I can find at this point. Graz'zt is one of my favorites, and this sculpt really captures him well and without unneccesary clutter. @Citrine: I also end up buying miniatures from Show Off and General Fantasy threads regularly, it's just hard to find the older ones on your own. And there are some true treasures in there!
