Basically everything I might need to take notes in, or take to work, is printed. Everything else is paperless - including bills, etc.

I have a paper planner I use, and I use paper copies of RPG books to let me reference them easier.

I've honestly gone back and forth between digital and paper several times, and I think I've found a happy middle ground.

I'm about 75-25 paper to electronic.  I prefer paper for books and anything I need to reference.  Bills can be electronic.  I can't bring electronic devices to many of the places hat I work, so I typically have to look up drawings on a computer and then print them out to bring to a job site.

I do tend to pickup pdfs of systems that I don't play often (or if I find a good deal) or systems that are just too huge to carry about (I looking at you Pathfinder!).

I greatly prefer paper books, and will only buy digital PDF's on an as needed basis, aka stuff like Shadowrun where ill buy a PDF just so I don't have to wait a year for the next printing run (but I'll still get the book when it comes out).

Beyond that, just bills are paperless.  I enjoy writing too much.

Edit: err, I meant drawing and sketching...  Writing is paperless because I can type five times faster than I can write, so....  But I'll still do calligraphy here and there, and prefer markers over digital painting stuffs.

Not very.  Still get paper statements, unless forced to switch over.  I still write paper checks and pay with paper money, but the plastic card is useful in some situations.  I drive to the bank and talk to a real person who speaks english, when I need their services.  I am about 50/50 when it comes to books, I have discovered new authors before they got published on paper, and some of my favorite writers put out shorts in electronic only.  With game books I like paper for reading through, but I like electronic for quick reference.  I like to take the kindle if I have to sit and wait at the mechanic or the doctor's office.

I work in a public library.  I love the printed word.  I live surrounded by it.  Every scrap of wall space I have available at home has book shelves.  I might be a hoarder.  I still have all my hard copy Dragon Magazines, RPGA newsletters, etc etc.  Ok, I'm a hoarder.  I still have a dungeon I made on a sheet of graph paper in 1979.  "Room 9:  Baby Dragon, 1 million gold pieces."  Classic munchkin D&D.

I'm also very comfortable with a paperless office, though.  I did many online collaborative publications when I was in the army that would have been several hundred of pages if printed but were instead distributed/accessed electronically.  Hundreds of e-mails a day, many thousands of electronic documents produced over the years.  If I had printed a hard copy of every document I read or produced at work, there would be no trees left.

nope.

well I guess I don't write letters, other than occasional thank you notes.

I have gotten occasional PDFs of gaming books, but am happier with physical copies

I have borrowed e-books from the library but far prefer physical books

HA Ha nooooo no no. The only E-books I buy are RPG rule books, and comics. The comics are because I just don't have space for giant stacks of monthlies. The RPGs are because I need the search function.

But novels are all still paper, many of my notes are still on paper, anything that's text longer than 40 pages, and expected to be read in large chunks at a time paper.

I am a mix.  I have some bills delivered electronically (although my city does not ever deliver my water bill electronically, YAY flyover country!).  Most everything I do is electronically unless I can hand-deliver it (a STRONG preference in the digital age, since speaking socially has become almost nonexistent in many circles).

For RPG's and Wargames I mix and match.  For online games, I really prefer to have a pdf copy, it is just SOOOOO much more convenient.  And, with a tablet, it also makes it easier to haul the 10 or so books to game night without feeling like a champion weight lifter afterwards.  At the same time, I really do prefer physical books.  They just have a better feel, and they don't keep you awake at night with their bright screens.

For other media, I also mix and match, for favorite authors, I buy their physical books and electronic versions.  Print ones don't expire or disappear into the nether.  I also have physical media and PURCHASED .mp3 files for favorite musicians (even though that goes beyond the scope of the question).  I like to support the artists I like, even if a percentage has to go to their promoter/publisher (ugh).

Shhh. We don't say the H word here. It's "figmentia", or, in this case, "bibliomentia".

There, I made up a new word to describe some of us ^_^

Still mostly paper, though some things like paperless billing are handy. I may use some PDFs to lighten the load of rulebooks when I go play Pathfinder, but I vastly prefer the printed copies. The heft of the books is comforting, and I can find what I'm looking for a lot easier just by how the book naturally opens to parts that I frequently go to. PDF pages all look the same to me; yes, I know you can bookmark certain pages, but it's still not the same.

Pretty much not at all. Even the few things that I have automatic payments for send me a paper copy of the bill. I do have an ereader and I read pdfs on my computer. Would like a large tablet for pdf game rules and such but so far I'd rather put that cash towards more minis/game supplies or a better laptop. The older I get the less I like technology overload. Never gonna make my minis obsolete. :poke:

Not very much. Most of my bills are dealt with electronically, but that's about it.

I have many, many 20's of books.

We aren't very paperless. All but one of our bills are still mailed to us and mostly only because that one is always due on the first every month. We have tons of books and have run out of space for them. I have to write out lists for things or I'll forget to print or put it on a device that is going with me where ever I need said list.

Not very.  While I have digital copies of quite a few things, I still prefer the physical version.  Electronic is more about convenience than anything.
