The combination of excessive fog, yucky drizzle and prepping for two murder trials just has me down. :( So, thanks for today's question because these responses really help! 8 1

Can you post something that shows that Beauty, Love, and Joy still exist? Can we make each other smile and laugh today? This is the main reason why I'm not getting as much work or painting done the last few months as I'd like. She's a good kid but even the good ones take a lot of energy. This is how I end most of my evenings. Reading something on the computer or watching her favourite videos waiting for mom to get ready for bed. When she's in a good mood I have all of the above you mentioned.

How many people did you kill, and what did they do to deserve it?? They took the last of the bacon, didn't they?? So, I have a pretty good feeling about this last round of interviews... *fingers crossed*

But man, it's so much easier to dress when it's your main colour since everything matches. Just add neon orange hair, with bonus points if it'll form a six inch mohawk.... Now I miss "triple B" Fridays at New City. Compound was a great place with awesome memories! Or was it Suburbs, can't remember. It was New City, it was an awesome Friday night. As for the topic and question at hand.... *waves flowtoys flowlights around* (I really need to buy some at some point!)
Sergeant_Crunch
I'm not going to be much help in this today. Things got real in my head tonight and I'm processing still.

Can you post something that shows that Beauty, Love, and Joy still exist? Can we make each other smile and laugh today? I have this odd habit. I stop and shoot pictures from the driver’s seat of my vehicle as I make my way about the city. This is from December: All these colors are on the same tree, it’s leaves were just all over the color spectrum.

The first one I painted was a Space Marine sergeant from the 3rd Edition starter box, which I don't have pictures of. I had some miniatures gifted to me in high school, but they are still unpainted. (You did notice which house I'm in, right?) This captain was painted right after the sergeant, so close enough. I've posted this one several times in response to this question in Show Off: Biker Chick Sophie. I don't really anymore, RL has been kicking me around for years and I want to get back into it...but priorities. When I did, it was to play...or at a minimum a good intention to play. I've only painted a small number of pieces purely for display. Edited February 16, 2018 by Sergeant_Crunch

February 17: What is your best miniature (pictures if possible)? February 18: Why do you paint? First Mini. I started out with Military Model kits around 12 yrs old. My first Fantasy Mini was probably a Prince August Dwarf as far as I can recall Painted in Humbrol Oils , Sold it off decades ago, so no pics. But it was the one on the right. Best Mini. Difficult to say, Maybe one of my busts I'm pretty proud of the Hyena Warrior and the Countess Karnstein Bust. But the bust I painted as my Brutus is my best so far, since it looks quite similar to the real one. http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/78734-boxer-dog-bust-as-my-pet-brutus-by-glitterwolf/ 28 mm. Maybe this one: http://forum.reapermini.com/index.php?/topic/71546-dinoriders-by-glitterwolf-giganotosaurus-amazone-and-conquistadore/#entry1461769 Why do I paint? For fun and display. I can relax, get into the zone and forget about everything else when I'm painting. I tend to create background stories about the mini in my head, listen to some music and just have fun with it. malefactus
2 hours ago, TaleSpinner said: February 16: What was your first miniature (pictures if possible)? The very first actual miniature I painted was a Britains Ltd . West Point Cadet converted into a mid eighteenth century Danish infantryman. Fifty five years ago I was fifteen & didn't have a camera. Suffice it to say it was a creation slightly less than wondrous to behold. 2 hours ago, TaleSpinner said: February 17: What is your best miniature (pictures if possible)? The best one I have painted is one I haven't painted yet, but my Mushroom Witch: AND the Divine Miss Mags, The All Knowing Trash Heap: ...are my current favorites. 2 hours ago, TaleSpinner said: February 18: Why do you paint? I have painted for table top & role playing games, but the actual reason I painted was I LOVE Toy Soldiers & making settings for them. Playing the games, I could visualize a film with all the miniatures involved in daring deeds. The other players just kept breaking into my reveries with annoying stuff like playing the game. Painting for the stories & the sheer love of it all is much more rewarding...spiritually that is.
