We may be finishing up our 3rd of 4 seasons of our Exalted 3rd game. We're, in theory, starting a Basic Expert game in a couple weeks. We might also be starting a play by post game of Star Trek Adventures if the other players get their character information up soon. So lots of RPGing to look forward to. Sibling's birthday is in March and I'm excited to give them their gift, a bundle of Nick Valentine things from ThinkGeek which includes a t-shirt, journal, desk lamp, and a pin. Our nieces and SIL are going to be in town from Maryland to see all of us and go to the beach for a few days. I think this is probably the most exciting thing that is happening since we only get to see them a couple times a year. Theoretically, they are moving back to the area in the not too distant future which would be amazing but no solid details have been worked out. Eh, I guess it is slowly getting warmer outside but I prefer snow to just above freezing and rain. There will be college basketball. Spring training has started.

That way you can join in, if you so desire. 3

It was a massive downpour & flash flood. About a foot of water flooded part (one room) of the house. We successfully blocked the water at a doorway. I was about 11 or 12. My Dad ultimately relieved the pressure on the house by knocking a panel out of the fence so that the backyard could rapidly drain...

We had a pretty nasty wind storm last year, reaching hurricane speeds. It was messy. Being used to snowstorms, even when 50cm/2 feet of snow fall, I don't make a big deal out of it.

Melt a chocolate of your choice and mix in mint extract. Into this dip and coat Ritz crackers. Set the coated crackers on wax paper and put them in the fridge/freezer to cool. Something about the butter and salt on the Ritz combined with the chocolate and they taste just like Thin Mints. Thou with Oregon's men's team probably not making it, my interest might not be as strong thou. I've found that Wallyworld's own brand (Great Value) of mint cookies taste exactly like Thin Mints. So I get my fix whenever I feel like it & I don't have to deal with the GS. But which Thin Mints?!? The round smooth “Little Brownie Bakers” ones with the thicker chocolatish-confection coating, or the flower-shaped, more crunchy “ABC Bakers” ones with the very thin chocolatish-confection coating? My favorites in order are Thin Mints (ABC>LBB), Samoas, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Patties, and then Tagalongs.
