No real watching/following anymore. Having me as a fan is the kiss of death for any team in any sport. I still like the local football team but I try to avoid watching games so that they have a chance to win.

I used to dabble in a bunch of rec sports when I was younger with karate and paintball being the most serious. The local dojo closed last year just when the kids and I were getting into it again. I'm trying to get my paintball field up and running again but I'm having trouble getting players to show up. I've got 20 sets of equipment and 80 acres of bush to play on.

I follow the local baseball  team when they're winning.  Sadly, there wasn't much of that last year.

I no longer do anything involving impact (jumping, running, getting hit with balls or bats) but I'm up for other games if people want to play.

Pretty much a sports nut. I'm that rare breed of a fan that is a geek & sports fan all wrapped up in one package. Thou lately other then Timbers games, I'm more inclined to read the report or watch highlights. Heck I really didn't even watch the Saints in the playoff this year.

Oregon Ducks sports: All mainly football.

Hockey: St Louis Blues, New Jersey Devils & Portland Winterhawks. I'd love to see Portland get a NHL franchise thou.

Soccer: Portland Timbers. I will go to one of their home games someday!

Football: New Orleans Saints

Baseball: Atlanta Braves & somewhat of a Seattle Mariners fan

Basketball: Not so much but I do follow the Blazers

Played, I played football back in High school but after 2 years I felt like I'd rather just watch it then play it.

Idly. If some game or other is happening and I happen to be doing little else, sure why not?

I won’t be watching the Superbowl. I let myself care enough about the NFL game that I like some teams and dislike others. Tomorrow the two NFL teams I detest the most play each other...

...I’ll be joining @Beagle (in spirit) to jeer the Eagles, but watch I will not, as I would be jeering their opponent as well.

Not anymore. And I was rubbish at the ones I did play back in the day.

Sports... If it were easier to do so in the US, I might follow rugby. Otherwise, I follow enough to know if the Pittsburgh teams are living up to the city's expectations and that's about it.

I spent close to 20 years practicing one form of martial arts or another... Brazilian Jiujitsu was my jam. I also used to play a ton of Ultimate Frisbee... My knees would not appreciate me trying either, now.

I won't be watching either. I don't mind the Eagles but I detest Pretty Boy Brady & the Pats. I haven't watched a full SuperBowl in years. Heck to be honest I taped the SB that the Saints won....::D: (Mainly cause I've had to work on Sunday nights, tomorrow will be hte first SB night I've had off in years). I may see if my wife wants to go to Boise tomorrow.

I am a MLB fan & I follow the NBA.

I don't participate in any sports anymore. There were a couple that I attained astounding mediocrity in, but that was a long time ago.

No. And no.

Except fishing of course.

But I have always sort of classified fishing as a religion.

I don't watch or follow sports.  My father-in-law is a huge baseball fan so I tend to get exposed to it though.

I don't play any sports.  I was that kid in gym class who always got picked last.

1. Absolutely. I'm admittedly a pretty big sports fan. Primarily follow baseball and football (the American version) but also will follow hockey, college basketball, soccer, etc. to an extent. Generally watch the Olympics. I'm not quite able to watch "random" games (i.e. games that I don't have any rooting interest in) but generally can easily watch just about anything. Now, if only my football and college teams were as good as my baseball team. ;)

2. I don't really play anymore as time has really gotten in the way unfortunately. Hiking is about all that I have time for. I used to run on a regular basis but that has become difficult for me due to a chronic condition. Growing up though I was playing sports all the time. Primarily baseball and soccer though played lots of pickup basketball, football as well. Ran track and cross country in high school, played tennis and racquetball in college (with friends, not competitively). So yeah, I'm a sports nut. I would have absolutely been a professional athlete but for the whole complete lack of athletic talent thing. :p

Back in Baltimore I would go to an Orioles (baseball) game once or twice a summer, and keep an eye on how they were doing. I also vaguely keep an eye on the Bruins (hockey) and attend a Superb Owl party, mostly for the food and commercials.

Used to do archery. But that was a LONG time ago...
