About

It had been some months now, without any disturbance at Midlam Manor, for which the Baron was grateful.  However, on reflection, it was perhaps too quiet.  No sooner had he considered this, then there was a terrible creaking of doors, mysterious footsteps and a most unholy wailing.  The haunting of Midlam Manor had begun.

It had long been known that the Baron’s ancient ancestral home was haunted, but sightings of ghosts had been mercifully rare. But now, from the great hall to the kitchens and from the dungeons to the battlements, all the lost souls of Midlam Manor walked the corridors once more...

Midlam Miniatures are pleased to present a collection of nine 28mm scale ghost miniatures for use in all of your fantasy, horror and pulp games.

Optional Add-On - The Vampires of Old Midlam Town

Doing his best to ignore the incessant moans and cries, the Baron examined a message that had just arrived from the High Wizard of Midlam, informing him that suspicious characters had arrived by coach from Ammerlund and since then there has already been a number of suspicious disappearances.  Of course, his help was urgently required.  The Baron sighed, hoping he could get rid of the ghosts quickly before the vampire cult became established In Midlam...

To bolster the ranks of the Undead, we present a set of 7 classic Vampires, available as an add-on to the main reward.

These metal Vampire models are approximately 28-30mm tall (from sole of foot to top of head, excluding integral metal base).  They are supplied unpainted and without the plastic base or scenery shown in the picture, which is for illustrative purposes only.

She comes to haunt King Henry,

She means to give him "What for",

Gadzook! She's going to tell him off,

for having spilt her gore!

And just in case the headsman,

wants to give her an encore,

She has her head tucked underneath her arm!

I used to be able to recite the whole thing, but that's all I can remember now.

(In fact I used to be able to declaim most of "Eskimo Nell", but that would only get me sent to beekeepers, I suspect.)

I can still sing the whole thing - as well as Unfortunate Miss Bailey....

I really like these ghosts - they have personality.

The Auld Grump - I can also sing all the verses of I'm 'Enery the Eight, I am - contrary to the claim of Herman's Hermits, the second verse is not the same as the first.

Ahem! (Strikes pose)

There's a one-eyed yellow idol

To the north of Kathmandu;

There's a little marble cross below the town;

And a broken-hearted woman,

Tends the grave of "Mad" Carew,

While the Yellow God forever gazes down...

Strictly declamation for me. My singing is generally agreed to constitute cruel and unusual punishment.

 Definitely having at least Lord Darkbarrow.

While I am not planning on backing this one due to a combinations of funds and overlap with my current collection, I wanted to pop in just to say that Midlam makes fantastic miniatures: great sculpts, great quality of casting, and insanely quick delivery.

For those unaware, a lot in their store is from the former Metal Magic line.

Skeletons, Orcs etc are from those moulds.

Very characterful minis!

They're heeeeeeere! :wub:

The family picture:

Death, the headless, and the accuser:

The dwarf accuser is the least undead looking at first glance. But upon closer look, his eyes are pretty sunken.

The "chasers":

They are quite unstable unless the bottom of the bases are perfectly smooth. Will need larger bases.

Feels like I need a "Scooby-Doo and the gang" set of minis.
