Almost done with the Sphinx, need some touching up.

Now to work on her base.

To be honest, that's why I bought a printer.

At first I asked around and I quickly realised that I would break even pretty fast.

Look for a good sale, I'm working with the Elegoo Mars ( not the Pro, not the Saturn) and it works like a charm, bought it at a sale for around $245 and have been printing a lot.

 

But if you want, there a lot of sellers of their stuff.

Ebay and Etsy are some places where they show up.

Working on the backboard for the Temple

Blue foam, used the GreenstuffWorld Egyptian rollerpin.

Scale 75 iroko

Reaper Dark Skin Highlight thinned to a wash

Pretty darn cool there @Glitterwolf!  I really like what you did with the sphinx and those wings are amazing!

 

In fact the whole temple backdrop is really impressive and reminds me I should really paint that cobra miniature...

 

Great job!  I look forward to seeing more

      It's night, it rains and it seems everybody in this forsaken town has closed their doors and windows.
      Even the Inn seems to be closed, why?
      One would think the villagers are afraid of something.
       
      You hear the sound of wings in the dark sky above you.
      Suddenly you hear a soft voice:
      All alone in the dark? How nice!
       
      You turn around and the last thing you see is the Necromera.

      Once she was loved, then betrayed and murdered in cold blood.
      He got away with it and to keep up appearances he laid flowers on her grave.
      Thinking he could be happy with his new found love, keeping it a secret for now.
      In a while he would "meet a new girl" again and nobody would ever suspect the truth.
       
      One last time to play the grieving widower, he walked to her grave with some flowers in hand.
      Some other visitors looked at him, feeling sorrow for his loss.
      He smiled inside, if only they knew.
       
      The others left the cemetary.
      He laid down the flowers, no need to hang around if nobody was around.
      Besides he was longing for his new girl, one more look at the tombstone, a shame she wouldn't let him go.
      He had to free himself from her, too bad it had to end this way.
      Goodbye! He whispered and turned around.
       
      Oh, don't go yet! He heard a whispering voice say.
      A cold wind blew around his neck, he turned around and saw her ghost emerging from the grave.
      Two shiny daggers in her hands.
      You'll stay with me...forever!
