Hi all! How do you do?
It's been a while since I last shared a mini here. I recently converted and painted one for my egyptian-themed Frostgrave warband.
Since the mini is a female and has bare breasts, I am supposed -as per the forum rules- to post links to the pictures instead of displaying them directly in the post. So consider this topic slightly NSFW.
To begin with, here is the mini I started with:
For the conversion, here's what I did:
Sawed the head off. A brutal surgery but a necessary one. [picture] Replaced the head with a bald one from Statuesque Miniatures. [picture] Filed off the remaining hair with a Dremmel power tool. [picture] Filed off the belt decoration and replace it with an Ankh cross. Resculpted the piece of fur on her shoulders and upper back. Cut off the top of her staff and replace it with an egyptian staff decoration (a double ostrich feather ornament)
The result after the conversion: https://legolemquireve.files.wordpress.com/2022/06/p1090830.jpg
After priming in off-white: https://legolemquireve.files.wordpress.com/2022/06/p1090832.jpg
And finally, the painted mini: [Front Picture] / [Side Picture 1] / [Side Picture 2] / [Back Picture] / [Close-up Picture]
If you want to see the pictures directly, you may visit my blog post (although it's written in french): https://legolemquireve.wordpress.com/2022/06/29/sandgrave-djesa-la-thaumaturge/

Just some bulk skeletons...nothing special. The spears were pretty bent when I got them. I worked with them a little to straighten them out, but figured I wouldn't spend too much time driving myself crazy (these were cheapies, after all 🙂). The detail on these guys is fairly soft, but they get the job done on the table.
Sorry for the quality on the group shot. Wide shots aren't my camera phone's specialty.
A litte surprise attack ( No WIP). A quick job , I painted her in 2 hours to try some stuff out.
She's from Ironwind Metals ( Ral Partha) and she is a lookalike of Vampirella, only a "bit" more "developed".
She might not be nude but she wears so little I decided to link the Pics ..because well she might as well be naked.
I had fun painting her and I tried a marble green base, not sure if this worked out, but practice practice...right?
Paints involved..The Reaper Vampire Skin Triad..Scale 75 Antares Red, Inktense Red, Chestnut Ink , Elven Gold, Decay Black and Deep Blue.

In my Children of the Night she's the or one of the Witches of the Western Woods.
Calling upon foul creatures of the Dark Woods and the spirits of those who found their demise there she will join the Evil Crusade against Men.
I started this little side project in my Children of the Night WIP.
Models are from Freebooter Miniatures ( Werne Klocke) the Crypt is from Minimonsters, Gravestone is from Greenstuffworld, the stairs are made of foam.
When you find the right person it's forever.
And by that I mean FOREVER!!!!
Here's Mr. Mort, He's found his eternal love, and every year on the day they met he brings her a rose and ask her to be his girl once again.
Her beautiful blond hair, her lovely smile, how could he resist?
And every year, she plays along, holding him off for a short while and then agrees to be his girl, forever and ever.
