Glitterwolf
Awesome! She looks great! I painted her a few years ago as a present for my oldest stepvixen, she loved it since she is a synchronized swimmer. 3

I painted the white part of her eyes in pale blue to emphasis her aquatic nature. 11 hours ago, DanH said: She looks great! I start whit muddy brown, then build up the colors by glazing layers of orange, tanned leather, yellow and pure white.
Moderator Guindyloo Posted February 14, 2018 Moderator Share Posted February 14, 2018 She’s gorgeous! You were right, I love everything about the base! I may have made an embarrassing squeak when I saw the oyster. Her crown is the absolute standout for me. Between the NMM gold and the gem, it’s absolutely beautiful. Really, really wonderful work! 2

Thanks Guindyloo, I'm happy you like her. I went with an aqua green color for her crown gem to harmonize it with the sea floor color. Green works very well with gold. I also applyed a pale green glaze on her skin and face for the final highlight.
CorallineAlgae
Wow! You really turned this figure into something special. Her face, base and crown are amazing, but I also love how her hair actually looks wet. I'm also really digging the blue sclera of her eyes. You completely nailed the details. 1
