Thanks Tjrez, I'm also happy how here eyes came out. I painted the white part of her eyes in pale blue to emphasis her aquatic nature.

Thanks DanH, glad you enjoy my work. After some attempts, I've developed my own easy way to paint gold.

I start whit muddy brown, then build up the colors by glazing layers of orange, tanned leather, yellow and pure white.

You were right, I love everything about the base! :wub: I may have made an embarrassing squeak when I saw the oyster. ::P:

Her crown is the absolute standout for me. Between the NMM gold and the gem, it’s absolutely beautiful.

Thanks Guindyloo, I'm happy you like her. I went with an aqua green color for her crown gem to harmonize it with the sea floor color. Green works very well with gold.

I also applyed a pale green glaze on her skin and face for the final highlight.
